Premium Tome Query

I have tried to find the answer myself, but I don't see it in the livestream or any of the posts about Tomes that I have read. If I missed it somewhere, I do apologize. My question: if you pay for the Premium Tomes, do you have to pay separately for both NA and EU servers? I play on both servers, and I would imagine I am not alone, and would like to know if I am going to be expected to pay twice or if the initial payment covers the entire account.

I don't know for certain but those would be separate accounts would they not? There is no cross-play or linking of accounts I'm aware of.

I'm not sure; if I buy crowns they appear on both the NA and the EU servers. Chapters show up on both servers without a separate payment. I don't have to pay a separate subscription for each server. That's why I'm wondering.

Idk but most stuff we buy with cash instead of crowns is good for both servers. So I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case here. I don't see it being the exception since plus is for both.

Also unclear if we'll be able to buy Tomes directly from the ESO website, or on Steam (like Crowns and the Seabloom house) in the future?

In other threads, it sounds like people who use Steam are having a lot of trouble with the Steam in-game overlay and getting payment methods to go through. I can't be bothered with all that, buying things should be hurdle-free.

After looking through how the system works and comparing both options, here’s my understanding on the actual difference in plain terms:

🟢 Premium Tamriel Tome
Unlocks the full premium reward track

Gives access to all earnable rewards (mounts, cosmetics, collectibles, etc.)

Rewards stay available with no time limit once unlocked

You must still earn and spend Tome Points to purchase each item

🔵 Premium + Bonuses Tamriel Tome
Includes everything from Premium, plus:
🧥 1 additional bonus collectible (currently a cosmetic like a costume)

📜 2 Tome Point caches (4,000 points total) to help you progress faster

🧠 Bottom Line
Both versions give access to the same reward pool, and once unlocked, those rewards remain available permanently.

The only difference is:
📜 2 Tome Point caches (4,000 points total)

🧥 One extra cosmetic item

👉 Simple way to think about it:
⚔️ Premium = unlock the rewards

🏹 Premium + Bonuses = unlock + tome points boost + bonus cosmetic

🌍 Purchasing the Premium + Bonuses (PC_NA & PC_EU) ($29.99 option)
✔ It is account-wide, not server-specific

✔ Once purchased, it is available on both regions

Ah, the things I do for fellow players... Yes. As a general rule (I needed to confirm because "general rule"), retail purchases are available on both servers. My one PC EU character had the Premium tier rewards available, 10 weekly challenges (because I didn't log into EU last week), and 10 rerolls available (because I don't normally play on PC EU).

EDIT: No idea whether that is true when purchasing the Premium+Bonus with Premium points. I won't have enough to check until after Season One starts.

EDIT2 (because enquiring minds want to know): Tome Point caches are weird. They generate based on account status (ESO Plus, for example), but they are consumed per-server. I have 4 caches on PC NA, but still have the original six on PC EU.
