I've decided to make a new thread, as no help has been offered.

WHY THE HELL IS ESO CRASHING FOR ME?!

Now that I got that out of my system, I'll give my system specs: Windows 11, with an RTX 4070, and more than enough RAM to run this game at butter-smooth speeds on max graphical settings.

In my efforts to troubleshoot the problem, I have reinstalled the game completely freshly, I have updated my graphics drivers, I have removed all add-ons, I have tried looking at any kind of crash logs or EventViewer

Nothing.

The game just says "I don't want to run anymore" and disappears. An instant crash to desktop. Every time I play. Every single time.

This happens after around 10 minutes of play. I've only been able to log in and get my Trade Bars and do some crafting dailies for the anniversary event.

This issue is enormously frustrating, and I am begging for some help. What else can cause the game to crash? I went over and over the help page over this.

    I will post a reply in this thread every time I crash.

    I decided to look at Event Viewer again, and looked under the Security tab. At the same minute that ESO crashed, it had a lot of Microsoft Windows Security Audit events at around the same second.

    I'm going to try reinstalling the game fresh again, but I do not believe that will solve the issue.

    I reinstalled the game, not just from the launcher, but I removed all trace of the game from my computer (and backed up my add-ons)

    I then launched it without any add-ons installed.

    After about 7 minutes, it crashed to desktop. It says on the launcher that the "game launch has failed"

    I have this installed on my D: drive as that drive is reserved for games.

    I have Windows 11

    I updated my graphics drivers, I use an RTX 4070

    Other games run just fine from the D: drive.

    What causes the game to just crash *EVERY SINGLE TIME* ?????

    Alright, venting spam aside (sorry about that) I think I may have figured out what was going on. The game was not added to Windows Firewall, after adding it manually and restarting my computer, I was able to log in and run the game without crashing for 25 minutes. I ran no add-ons and I was primarily in Vvardenfell.

    I will run further tests later on, but this has me mentally exhausted. This is my favorite time of year to play ESO and for over a week I could only do 10 minutes at a time. >.<
