last month on dc pc na gray there was a player that would slow walk scroll i mean slow an rage bait people in chat now 70% of them left because who wants to deal with that kinda toxic behavior an now were gated at prime time off time an yeah. an zos refused to do anything for the whole month this was happening an many people reported them an after nothing was done for 3weeks people started saying they were gonna switch an stopped playing an i believe zos did nothing because they wanted to sell alliance change tokens an they were successful. an now less people are playing because who wants to be gated all the time with no scrolls. i myself will be playing some crimson desert till things change most my friends that didn't swap just don't play now or as much or just skip cyro. i hope you all are happy.

So other players left the alliance due to that?

The funny thing was all the toxic DC who complained about a small group of players switching to EP in Feb, kind of poetic justice that DC lose a bunch more now.

However that being said, there is a huge population issue with Cyrodiil in general and I hope that ZOS does look at things and try to improve them. Max Population lowered again and faction imbalance getting to EU levels on NA is a really bad sign.

they walked it sooooo slow it took 4 hrs to get it home on off peek an there were times the player would just stand around an wait to get killed so another team could take it an say they were just role playing a other rage bait stuff an then they get lonely men to justify an support there actions because of there gender

On the other hand... I am not minding the drastically reduced queue times after spending 1-hour+ stuck in them every night over the last two campaigns.

On the actual topic, though, I find it completely wild that a random zone troll would have that effect. Seems more like a reason for people who already wanted to bandwagon to the easier factions to do what they already wanted to do.

As one of those players who switched this campaign, it wasn't really because of that one player.

PC NA DC has a culture problem of players who enable that sort of thing and dont want to work with the faction, etc. It wasn't that way when I went dc four years ago. Sure they dont group which newcomers complain about a lot. Its the solo faction, but when it came time to fight, even when mercilessly being gated, dc was in it ready to go. We used to take a tower near glade and just hold it against high pop ep and farm them until they left.

Now people sit in keeps emoting or complain about EP zerging when they zerg just as hard as EP does, if not harder, and pretend they're better than they actually are.

Meanwhile on EP side there's constant fights not just with DC but AD, and the participation of players who sat through that monstrous queue is far higher. When even DC's queue is over an hour long nowadays from that many players coming in, its crazy to still see glade packed with afkers until ep comes over to troll it that is. Wild really that DC has so many pvpers that don't actually pvp. Yet they're the most mouthy in dms and in zone chat.

Your guild leader who I won't name here was one of the people that caused a lot of chaos over said scrolls. Ballgroups have a bad habit of playing selfishly and having an elevated sense of importance. Instead of just running the scroll home, he dropped it and allowed the troll op is talking about to get the scroll despite being warned.

I know he doesn't care but you're more sensible, so if you are wondering why so many got tilted, you can start there, as this wasnt just a one night thing but multiple nights.

lol you should log in and see for yourself Xylena, greyhost is very very active right now, 5 pm on the weekend it was already locked out with over 50 queues, and by primetime you were waiting hours.

Yesterday on a monday night was also crazy populated. Greyhost is more active than its been in years at the moment and I imagine that won't change since the warden refresh is coming up as well.

People should really lay off of Homicide. Sure, their leader's a character lol but they're pushing more than everyone else on DC, defending more than everyone else on DC, and almost always at the front. They're not the best players but they got a lot of heart, and I notice them improving all the time. Right now they're not my biggest fans lol but I respect players that aren't afraid to die in a videogame.

That is part of the issue, the population cap is too low. A faction locked campaign with Vengeance population caps would be perfect.

addressing the attracting trolls an stuff. this game has ways to vote people out of activities but not cyro because i believe its how they sell alliance change tokens that's why they allow this behavior. i played alot of rust an its not that bad there because there are consequences if you act dumb you get your *** pushed in an all your stuff taken an kicked from team an the house an no one want to play with you. but rust doesn't sell team change tokens eso does.

It happens in every alliance, every once in a while someone grabs a scroll and runs it to the enemy faction. I dont condone the behavior described and I think its very frustrating and not right when people do it. But if someone wants to play a traitor to their alliance and hand scrolls to the enemy, who is to say that is against the rules? Is there anything specifically saying its against the TOS? If so then case closed and the person should get the banhammer.

    Hi OP,

In the past I've posted about similar behaviors to great length, and every concern was basically ignored. This is why I left AD/EP for similar reasons. For you guys who did go EP, you need to be careful because there's a Guild on there who runs frequently, their Guild leader considers himself a King, well they are hostile to others joining 'their' faction. Same as AD has been in the past with their wolf guild. So don't get started with AD/EP, start accomplishing things and expect any kindness or friendship in return. Don't be surprised if you're asked to leave because they don't care. AD gets offended really easily, so no jokes while on your AD toons. I have zero reason to help or care anything about anyone in Cyrodiil anymore.

And so, it's for this reason, as well as reasons OP stated that I have moved on from Cyrodiil. I hang out in IC chillin and killin all day and all night. It's just... it's great. In fact, it's interesting meeting some of those more 'wrathful' folks from Cyrodiil in there. They certainly aren't laughing anymore, and I feel alot better about things now. Sometimes people get what they deserve. Sad to see what happened to DC though. Was a good run for a long while wasn't it? Most of the best people in Cyrodiil were either on DC or perhaps EP. It's funny how much damage one person can do and how no one can stop it.

Just doesn't seem right to ruin what was once a great faction full of strong, talented players. If only others had posted about the dangers of allowing ball groups, guilds and solo emps to have too much power. If only someone had said something.

What is worst, is when they mesh through the ground to grab the scrolls and then fly around the map trolling.

Banning someone over playing the game is silly, all they had to do was not protect the scroll carrier and let them die so they could pick it up. But there were players that refused to do that.

I say that if that's how the faction is, they should embrace that and when they lose players because of stuff like that, it simply is what it is.

Getting Zos involved for game reasons is very unnecessary when the solution is in your own hands. This is why I say its not just the one player, its a faction problem DC pcna has and they themselves should be the change they wanna see, or simply deal with people stepping away.

No, people can simply play in blackreach if they want that. Greyhost is as populated as it is because of the faction lock, you sign up for this dynamic.

Does running around with a scroll give you some kind of passive bonus? I don't see anything on the UESP Wiki which indicates that it does, but I often see players of all three alliances running around and fighting while carrying a scroll, instead of running it back to its temple or placing it in a friendly keep, which made me wonder. Is it just an ego thing-- "I'm a PvP god; come try to take this scroll from me" or whatever-- or is there actually some kind of benefit for being a scroll carrier?
