Jubilee Event: Too many furnishings, not enough Motifs

Back in the years of old, it felt like about every other box from the anniversary event contained some usable goodie - pattern, recipe, or motif! How delightful! Being able to share duplicates with friends and newbies has always been a huge highlight for me.

Now it seems like every other box contains a jubilee furnishing instead. And while I like the furnishings okay (the streamers are admittedly my favorite), it feels like the have replaced the drop of patterns/recipes/motifs.

Moderately disappointed to have 40+ of all the furnishings, and not as many patterns/recipes/motifs anymore.

Not to mention all the useless old style pages that should not exist in the loot pool at all, they should be in grab bags perhaps for the unlikely case that someone can't find something for a handful of gold at a guild trader or for free in their guild's bank.

I wouldnt mind if i could give them away or sell them but they are all bound. There is a limit to how many I need

Only the ones bought at the Impresario are bound. The ones that drop from event boxes can be passed on or sold.

Why shouldn't they? There are new players all the time that don't have them.

None of the furnishings, motifs or style pages should be bound. Plans and Motifs are how I make gold mostly on the AH still. Keep them all till after let the market settle again and then I have 100s or 1000s of items to throw up on the AH.

The furnishings are a pain to get because they just don't look good imo. The worst part for me is all the useless purple drink and food recipes that will never see the light of day. Unfortunately though, most boxes I'm opening just have materials.

Because they clutter the item pool. New people can buy them either in a grab bag, or they they could get them from Guild Traders. They've been dropping for years and I don't think any of the pages are more than 1k Gold.

I do agree that the Furnishings drop too much, too. They also should revert the change to mats only dropping in stacks of five. This is pretty much the best event for crafters and is a time a lot of us stock up on mats, but between getting a slew of Jubilee Furnishings and common mats like Iron, it feels like getting Style Mats or stuff like Powdered Mother of Pearl is less rewarding when you manage to get them and it's only 5.
