Ps5 Pro horrible performance in dungeons and trials

Is it just me or anyone else?
I got barely 25 Fps in some dungeons and trials, for example like Lep Seclusa. It's worse than base Ps5. Why is there no seperate performance modus anymore?

It doesn't feel like pro it feels like ps4. I would appreciate if something could be done.

It's not just you and this has been recent with both PS5 systems and it also happens with some Overland bosses. There was an Overland boss that was unkillable on some days specifically because the number of ads and and skills and everything going on on screen at once wouldn't necessarily slow down the frame rate, but it would crash the system. I remember back on PS4 that due to my geographical location and with the limitations of the PS4's net code, maustrom arena was not possible to Pete for a few updates for people in my area. In fact, if I recall, it took all the way till the launch of the PS5 actually do it.

My suggestion to the dev team is to look into this. My bet is it has more to do with Sony's servers than it does with actual hardware.

Yeah it's really disgusting. The input delay gets unbearable with 25 fps. I wish more people would complain, so they hear us.

    Where are you playing?

I am playing with a PS5 Pro from germany on the PS-EU server and zero issues, regardless of content. Sometimes I even switch to my PS4 Pro with a SSD, also zero problems.

I play on the EU Server and I am from Austria. Not the ping is the issue but the raw performance. It runs smooth in towns and overland but fps drops occur in dungeons and trials. We play mostly hardmodes and there performance is so disgusting it's really unbearable.

Its looks like the PS 5 is tuned too high graphic settings. You can test this in Alkir dolmens during peak hours.
On pc you can change graphical settings but not sure about consoles.
Wish ESO had an sort of dynamic here, with to many effects going off reduce quality, its very unlikely you would notice while playing.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    "PS5 Pro Enhanced
ESO is now PS5 Pro Enhanced, taking full advantage of the capabilities of the PS5 Pro hardware with variable rate shading and other optimizations. You will no longer see options for Performance or Fidelity within the game’s settings but instead play with the advantages of both to get the best visual quality at 4k resolution and 60 frames per second. This feature is exclusive to the PS5 Pro console."

Sadly, there is no option concerning the settings.

Yeah unfortunately, that's why I hope the devs could improve things.

Feels like it's Pro downgraded 🤣

It's below 30 Fps in demanding fights.

We need the option to turn off pro enhanced setting.

It’s even worse when you don’t have a 4k display yet your system is forced to run in pro settings.

I don't know if it's related, but after the last couple of updates, something wierd happens in IA too.

Everything will be running nice and smooth. But now, the moment I load into the first stage of Arc 3, FPS tanks and performance is miserable. Doesn't matter which of the 3 random realms is chosen, nor does it matter which random monster encounters are chosen. Happens regardless of which character/build I bring. FPS just drops, and it's a slogfest after that on the PS5.

Every time, at the exact same point in the run.

I’m on PS5 original with Performance mode, and frame rate drops have been common for me off and on for a while but more recently. It gets better after a patch but slowly comes back over time. Occasionally switching to Fidelity (ewwwww) and then back to Performance seems to help. I see frame rate drops in many areas but even just riding through cities. Exiting from the UI of crafting stations causes stuttering. Turning in crafting writ dailies at the drop box in Riften sometimes causes such freezing and stuttering that my character suddenly zips off the platform at ridiculous speed and into the water before I can stop.

I agree it is like PS4 in that I see black silhouettes of players at wayshrines, though I have not seen invisible adds or slow-loading npcs yet. Strangely enough I find that GH Cyrodiil (except for encountering ball groups) and trials have the best performance. I see more stuttering in newer zone delves than there.

    EDIT: typo
