8v8 Capture the Relic Suggestions

1. 8v8 Capture the Relic should have more than one flag.

2. Holding the flag should put a debuff on the holder the same as Chaos Ball but ramped up a bit to remove the instances where winning teams hold losing teams hostage haling the flag for 15 minutes

3. This is just all around for BGs, they need a surrender vote after a certain criteria is met or when a time threshold is met.

    i dont think adding more relics would be better, it would just make matches end faster because it would be harder to defend

    i would agree with making the relic debuff the user, mainly with some kind of movement speed debuff or prevent sprinting to prevent instances where one singular person can capture and literally just outrun people chasing

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

    eh, if someone makes a CTR build for speed and evasion, more power to them. but i just dont want someone holding the flag for 15 minutes to flex on the team they are beating.

    Also, most people hate ball groups, having 2 flags would create more chaos and disperse the ball groups.

    lol honestly, another suggestion of mine is that every gamemode should give 1point for player kills. Its pvp, killing should be part of it. OBjectives should always give much more points however

    if you play the solo queue, its less chance your gonna run into balls because theres no preforming, and it only takes about 2-3 people of an 8 person team to become a "ball" if they are sweats and know each other

    my main problem with capture the relic is ive been trying to finish the BG achievements by getting the divine guardian, which requires healing 200k health of relic carriers, speed captures do not help facilitate this achievement, and the achievement doesnt count overhealing, which just makes it frustrating when a team can do 5 caps super quickly

    There should absolutely NOT be more relics. That was the biggest issue with the 3 team relic and why games in that mode would last 2 minutes tops.

    Objective based PvP only works when it funnels players into a specific spot to fight over the Objective. The more objectives you add, the more that running from fights and avoiding engagements becomes the best tactic.

    I disagree. Only one flag causes ball groups and I enjoy smaller skirmishes more. It puts the focus more on coordination and not who has the better ball group. If a team isn't as good fighting wise, they have more options to out maneuver the opponent since teams have to focus on 2 objectives.
