As the title says, I go over the details about all the new changes and additions to the currencies and reward structures both free and paid. I also give my input on the value in each Tome option.

Tamriel Tomes Overview (Season 0)

Free Rewards: The new system replaces old daily login rewards with a more generous tier of collectibles, currencies, and materials available to all base-game owners just by playing

Progression: You earn Tome Points through daily, weekly, and seasonal challenges to unlock tiers. You can re-roll challenges with spendable/limited dice.

Premium Options: The standard premium path costs $15 for three months and includes all extra rewards. An upgraded $30 tier provides additional Tome Points and an exclusive costume (I do NOT recommend this option for most players. This is definitely a whale lure, or for those who just love the costume so much they want to drop $30 on it) As I have said elsewhere on another post's comment, The Free rewards make up for somewhere around 70% of the reward value imo. The $15 premium option makes up the rest of the 25-30%. And the $30 option is barely in the single digits of Value %, as you only really get a costume and some faster Tome Points to jump start you into what you can earn by playing free instead.

UI Tip: If you are lost, you can return to the reward screen by pressing 'X' (or your console-equivalent button) at the bottom of the menu.

Currencies & Bazaar Details

Trade Bars: These are earned through gameplay, events, twitch drops and cannot be purchased directly in the Crown Store. They have no caps and are used in the Gold Coast Bazaar to acquire previously missed or limited-time items. They can be obtained in small amounts within the premium Tome line, but this amount is insignificant by far compared to the free methods.

Seals (Previously Seals Of Endeavor)

Seals of Endeavor: Now simply called Seals, these remain a standalone currency earned via gameplay to unlock Crown Crate rewards. Rumors of their deletion are debunked as misinformation, please disregard the people we still see making these claims. Especially on alternate social media Facebook/Instagram. It's entirely unfounded and doomsayer.

Extra Important Notice About Daily Login Tome Points

Bug Notice: Some players may experience issues with daily login rewards not tracking correctly if they logged in during the server reset window. The developers are aware and working on fixes, @ZOS_GinaBruno has commented on this herself.

I hope you all are enjoying these updates as much as I am, I am super excited about collecting some of the collectibles I somehow allowed myself to miss out on in past years. As well as some of these dope new additions in the Tome. Actually shocked how in favor of the player the reward structure is so far at least for season 0.

Per Request by @SilverBride : Additional advice to save yourself some wasted Tome Points or effort in future seasons:

2000 unspent Tome points will expire at the end of the season, but Tome caches do not expire, so don't open a cache until you are ready to spend the points.

Each cache holds 2000 Tome points.

Than you! This extra clarity has definitely been needed. Hell, even after all the dev updates, streams posts, conversations etc. People are still going to say the wrong things. So any bit helps lol

Please add that all but 2000 unspent Tome points will expire at the end of the season, but Tome caches do not expire, so don't open a cache until you are ready to spend the points.

Each cache holds 2000 Tome points.

I had heard that seals were going to be converted to trade bars, and was somewhat confused when I still had them.

Seals remain seals (just renamed from Seals of Endeavor to just Seals). Trade bars are former event tickets with the conversion rate 1 ticket = 100 trade bars and no cap.

Yes! This is what many players were lying about. Or someone lied and then others started spreading it >:(

Great work!

This is something I would expect from the studio though. Especially in light of the tome expiration fiasco, a clarification blitz would have been a good move IMO.

If they'd just called Trade Bars something like Bazaar Tickets it would've saved so much confusion - the names of Trade Bar and Tome Points are too similar.

Keeping the 'ticket' label would've made it clearer what they were replacing and how they were used, and 'Bazaar' for where their main use would be now

Now you need to get a lots of points to get to the end there the real good stuff is, think around 20.000.
as you can earn around 2000 a week from that I got you should be able to finish it in an season, With ESO+ its easier.
But as I see its I don't think its enough cool stuff to buy for 18000. So I would end up buying stuff like tempers I have thousands of just to not waste the points.

Also has no idea how caches from ESO+ works. I got 4 who I was stupid an opened.

I assume you have to reroll before claiming anything?

Just a kinda-typo: Only 2000 unspent Tome Points will roll into the next season. The rest expire at the end of the Season.

But no context. Well I guess it was posted on tictak or somewhere.
More fun the link to upgrade to premium of the *** does not work, who is interesting as paying for stuff is an thing who never break outside of Microsoft.
Company I work for uses MS cloud and at one point our services was almost taken down as they could not allow payment from the company's visa card in Norway for some insane reason.
