Heads up: first week of weekly tome challenges isn't a full week

I just noticed that the weekly challenges inside the Tamriel Tome has a countdown timer and that counts down to Tuesday morning 5AM CET for me. This means that they reset at the same time as other weekly challenges or leaderboards. Is not a real problem, but I though that you might have overlooked this (as it is easy to overlook) and wanted to give you a heads up.

That countdown timer is not counting down to an expiration or reset. It's counting down to the addition of more challenges. The current challenges can sit and wait until you decide to get around to them.

At least, that's the impression I got from the livestreams. And from anecdotal experience from other season pass models. I could be mistaken.

In another thread I was told it's because the weeklies are usually added on a Tuesday. This week is an exception because the tome went live on a Thursday, so it's a shortened week. Which is equivalent to what DenverRalphy said.

You don't have to complete the challenges within the time frame, though. You have until the end of the season if you're on the free tome. There's no time limit if you paid for the tome.

This is correct. There is a cap of 12 though.
So if you do none it's
Now: 5
Apr7: 5+5
Apr14:5+5+2 cap reached.
After this they don't reset, they just stay the same until you do some.

If you do some then you keep getting the lower of 5 or what you need to get to cap.

So if you did 2 per week you'd get
Now:5 -2
Apr7: 3+5 -2
Apr14: 6+5 -2
Apr21:9+3 cap reached -2
Apr28: 10+2 cap reached
etc
