Please add the Tamriel Tome Premium and Premium+Bonus Upgrades to the Store

Please add the Tamriel Tome Premium and Premium+Bonus upgrades to the website store. I would like to purchase the Premium+Bonus upgrade but I don't want to save a payment method to my ESO account. I've been playing since beta and have never been required to save a payment method in order to purchase upgrades/expansions/currency previously. I'm not sure why the decision was made to offer the Tamriel Tome upgrades exclusively in-game instead of in the store as usual, but it's pretty inconvenient. It's also buggy for a lot of players right now.

I enjoy playing this game and have continuously subscribed and bought every Chapter since the game launched, and I'd love to continue supporting the game. I hope you'll reconsider the requirement for a saved payment method to purchase and make the upgrades available in the official website store so I can buy it. <3

Thank you for your consideration.

Not doubting that you're leery of holding a payment method in whatever database might be applicable, but "Trade Bars will never be purchasable for Crowns" pretty much puts the kibosh on that idea.

ZOS could "officially" dispute my take on this (kind of hoping that they do because enquiring minds want to know), but there was a reason why the current "chapter" wasn't available in the Crown Store until about a year post-release. If they put it in the Crown Store immediately, why would anyone go to Steam or Epic or Xbox or whatever other retail to buy if if they could just get it gifted through a crown exchange?
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I'm not sure they're asking for it to be available from the crown store, my take is they want it available from their eso account where they buy the crowns.

There's a more simple reason it won't be in the crown store. They don't want people double-dipping and getting upgrades with ESO+ crowns as well as the premium tokens. If you add crown sales on to that too they'd make almost nothing

Just looked and yes I am surprised that the 2 paid Tomes editions aren't available on the website store page. That does seem like a missed opportunity.

Yeah, I was waiting to buy either from the ESO website or Steam, hence why there's been a lot of problems with purchasing in-game in the thread I made.

I'm wondering if, because it's a seasonal thing, that it would be difficult to add to the website store? Perhaps there is potential for a miscommunication between site and account? I don't know. You'd think they would have worked at making it easier to upgrade through any means possible... however, other games I've played with a battlepass also had to be purchased in-game and not through Steam directly. I know with New World, you had to upgrade the battlepass in-game, but you also had to have Steam Overlay enabled. I hate the Overlay, so I'd have to enable it before going into the game, buy the upgrade, then exit the game and turn off the Overlay, then re-enter the game.

I can't imagine that how it could be difficult to add the Premium Tome upgrades to the website store, when in previous years we could buy both the regular and Collector's Edition upgrades of new Chapters there.

I just don't understand why the Premium Tome upgrades have been excluded from the website store. I would really like to buy it. :(

Is there regional pricing on the website? I’ve heard there isn’t for Tomes, and I’ve been wondering if that explains why the upgrade isn’t available outside of game on various storefronts. In addition to external cuts, I mean, though that wouldn’t explain it not being on the ESO site alone (unless there is some agreement that anything offered on the official site is also available on the other storefronts too).

It is absolutely RIDONK that you can't just buy the upgrade on Steam or through whatever marketplace that you acquired the game from.

I agree the Tome upgrades should be purchasable through the website in a similar way to how the chapters were done.

There is a whole community used to purchasing that way, and whilst 'in game' may be what others do, I've been told by guildies they are actively not purchasing because of having to purchase in game.
