I see no reason to believe they're doing any kind of RNG adjusting.DenverRalphy wrote: »Anybody keeping track, be sure to pay attention to the total sum. Different tasks may award different amounts between rerols. But they may also be auto adjusting to ensure the final tally of all tasks (including the total number of times completing each task) is the same.
Here is what I had upon logging in. No re-rolls.

Here is what I think is dumb, the system should be set to NOT offer the exact same challenge TWICE. I already had a challenge about collecting runes, and when I re-rolled another, I got a second challenge to collect runes. So now I have two of the exact same challenges to collect runes. So will they both complete at the same time or will I have to do them twice?
I have that with a kill dungeon boss challenge (with choice of three dungeons) and they run parallel. So killing the boss will give me point in each of the two instances of the challenge.
In you case, harvesting a runestone would mean that if you add a point to both of those challenges.
(In my case, I am lucky as that is a challenge that awards 3x 200=600 tome points, or in this case, 1200 tome points totally)

I've noticed that the 200+ point challenges I've seen so far involve dungeons and trials. Fortunately I don't mind doing dungeons, but for people who always play solo or who don't enjoy dungeons/trials, that's bad. Sure, they can "play as they want" by rolling for other items, but it's not really fair that those players will never earn the same number of points per week as players who run trials and dungeons. Especially for players who pay $$ because they want the extra cosmetics. These tomes aren't exactly cheap.
Hopefully the points will be adjusted in the future so that players who don't run dungeons/trials for whatever reason can earn tome points on par with those who do.

That said, I don't think they should've done it like this. Everyone should get the same weekly points, if different tasks. With the chance to reroll for an epic. Person A shouldnt log in to 1900 total and person B log in to 2200. We should all have the same base and have to spend rerolls for a chance at epics. This would add the benefit of putting reroll packs as rewards in the tomes or sell them for gold or something.
