When I do it's to share my disbelieve in the decisions regarding the recent changes within the game.

Zenimax PR talk: We want to combat FOMO by introducing a new reward system every player can catch up any time they like. Missed a week due a vacation? No problem, we got you!

You can still complete the required tasks of prior weeks and catch up!

This way everyone will be able to stay up to date at all times!

Also Zenimax: We introduced a battle pass with unique cosmetic rewards with most unique and worth while items being locked behind a paywall.
But be care full! It's seasonal! buy, buy buy buy now!

Oh yeah, we might bring some items back in later seasons, so if you already bought something before, you're going to pay for it again.

Oh yeah the full battle pass will cost you an additional 14,99 annually oh and we offer pay skips to get a little bit ahead of everyone else for 29,99 annually.

It's totally fair guys! we will release content for free now! now more expansions or content passes.
Though content drops will be smaller and less frequent.

It's now fully a Microsoft product and knowing Microsoft (xbox) loves to shove at least 6 battle passes per year in their games such as call of duty.

It wouldn't surprise me if we were to see more than 4 until next April.

6 * 14,99 = 89.94 that's more than the content pass or annual expansion releases.

In other words, I'm cancelling my subscription.

Barely play, didn't mind having an active sub despite not playing.

But I won't support hypocrisy and lies.

Yeah hope not but already irritated that I effectively lost a bunch of cache points for opening now instead of waiting. Crappy UI as well. But does feel like that is the future and if anything at least gives me another reason to just unsub again.

Yeah, I'm not keen on the new direction either

I'm going to take a break until all the class reworks release and see where its at then. Feels like a chore to keep up at the moment and that means its time to stop playing

More like "don't stress about if you couldn't buy it in time, it'll return eventually." Also, why would I pay for something I already bought unless I explicitly wanted more of it. Most of these items aren't even able to be purchased twice.

There's a new zone coming next year.

We will not. They've already announced when we're getting most of these. Currently, each season corresponds to about a quarter. So, we'll get most likely get 4. 4*14.99 = 59.96. The content pass was 49.99. So, it's about 20 bucks more expensive. But, you'll also get far more collectibles. And it's the only thing that you're paying for with it.

I think some of this is moreso your experience with other Microsoft products rather than what ESO is doing. Which, fair enough. No sense in paying for a game that you don't want to pay and who's monetization you don't approve of.

I have to say, whilst I did read up as much as I could in advance, so I did more or less know what was coming, I don't think I can ever remember a more negative vibe in my Guilds' chats today.

First off people were very confused and a lot of explaining was needed but OMG!!! when the bugs started manifesting people were absolutely losing it! :/

    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!
