Thank you for the event - enjoying myself so far.

I really like that the intro quest is easy this year, and only takes a couple of minutes even with listening to all of the dialogue. I like the baker character.

The cake looks great, glad to add it to my collection.

I personally like the ability to get boxes from playing over repeatable quests.

300 tomes a day for doing nothing is great - I'll be grabbing the Azure Fatecarver pack for sure. Not sure what else I'll buy, but it's a nice gift just for daily logins. And hey, I get 14 days of feeling like I get a daily login reward again lol.

Hope everyone else enjoys as well. What do you plan on buying with the tomes?

I'm really holding off on buying anything with Tomes for now. There's a lot of currencies and I'm not sure what their value is quite yet. Even with Seals, I don't know how fast I'll get them in the new system. Same thing with Trade Bars...or is it Tome Tokens?...both.

I admire your willpower - I never can hang on to my currencies for long :) But seems like a smart approach while people figure things out.

I hate almost everything about it. The only good part so far is the cake looks awesome!

But doing writs on 7 characters is giving me 49 boxes full of wreaths and banners and things I already have a gazillion of from previous years. I wish we could toggle off getting more of these furnishings.

I'd agree that getting a billion of those wreaths is a con once you have more than enough. They should be stackable. Not sure if they are this year but I remember being annoyed last year.

Really? You are enjoying? How? I thought the game was down for all.

I'm not in the UK - the message states it's an issue there? I also am not playing at this exact moment but was earlier.

Another issue is the number of recipes and patterns and style pages I am getting. I did get a handful of these, and a couple of motifs that I didn't know, which is always a good thing, but am left with 19 of these things to now try to sell. But I don't have enough trader slots open, and hate to get rid of something someone else may be able to use.

It's just too much of everything.

Do you happen to use Lazy Writ Crafter? I'm out of the loop and saw it wasn't working and there is still that pinned message on the forums about it. Was curious if it works and if so I'll go grab that add on.

Without ESO i haven't been doing writs for boxes since I have no inventory space, but I guess i can go mass sell stuff.

If possible, find someplace to stash the good stuff. Prices will tank during the event making it a good time to buy if you need to wrap things up but a bad time to sell for max profit. Waiting a month or two helps. I typically use this event to save up stuff, so I always have things of value for the guild traders even if I am not playing much at any given time.

Is it just me or did they include a cooldown on Anniversary boxes this time? =(

Most of these aren't worth a lot and I usually sell things like this fairly cheap anyway just to help people get what they need.

As far as stashing these, I am very meticulous about what kind of things I store where. I am not going to just toss them in with unrelated things.

I just wish they didn't go overboard with so much of this stuff.

I sure love this community! Every event, every year, the same thing. Complain and complain about everything. But yet here they are, grinding out rewards that they constantly complain about.

I'm not grinding out anything. I do the daily crafting writs on all my characters every day so I am not doing anything new or different. I would be perfectly happy if they didn't award these boxes.

Just so you are aware only 2000 tome points can be retained towards the next season, so make sure you spend them bar the 2000 if you did want to carry them over, this information is in the help section in game.

LOL! Yeah, complaints about rewards accompany every event. Either too much, too little, too hard to get, too easy to get, too repetitive, ... I'll hang onto the good stuff for later (prices will tank for a few weeks) and feed the rest to alts (I'll make crafters out of you guys, even if I have to break all your fingers to make it happen). My only real wish/complaint is for all these event furnishings to either be decon-able or sellable to NPCs. I get real tired of DESTROY > yes I really meant to click that > DESTROY > yes I really meant to click that > DESTROY > ...
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

This is my favourite event in the ESO calendar. This year’s cake looks brilliant, and the range of dailies is great.

    I have two points.

    1. Why - oh why oh why oh why - make the furnishings Bound?? Many people don’t want them. Many others want more. For the love of Meridia (the one true god), make them unbound and tradeable. @ZOS_Kevin please!
    2. Did you guys nerf the motif drop rate?

Definitely give a pay rise to the art person who designed the cake - awesome job!

Useful feedback for sure. Please unbind the furniture, let it stack, and also be sellable for maybe 50 to 100 gold a piece or something. That would go a very long way.

No one wants to loot something and think, "oh a chore. I'll have to confirm deleting this" lol.

Not just you. This has me so mad. This has always been the best event for me. Could just do boss loops or whatever I wanted to farm boxes and now they add this ridiculous cooldown like other events have. They love to ruin good things.

Edit: so I’ve waited nearly 20 minutes between a boss and can’t get another box. I’ve only gotten 15 on the toon I’m on today. 14 from double writs and one from a world boss. What’s wrong?
