No Trade Bars granted.

Have used the cake direct from Tools and also from assigned spot on quick access wheel.

Tried numerous times.

Only thing I can think of is that they've decided to not let people get Jester Festival last day trade bars, and then day one Jubilee trade bars. But other people in my guild are getting trade bars from eating cake despite getting the jester festival ones this morning too.

Yes, fully aware of how these are rewarded & the pop up. It did not appear. Nothing in inventory.

Only thing I can think of is that they've decided to not let people get Jester Festival last day trade bars, and then day one Jubilee trade bars. But other people in my guild are getting trade bars from eating cake despite getting the jester festival ones this morning too.

If that is the case, then it is a bit rubbish (being much more polite than I feel).

You have always previously been able to get the last tickets from one event and then the next tickets once the new event started on the same day.

If they have changed this, they should have made it clear. But if some are getting & some are not, even with getting bars this morning, then that suggests bug, not feature.

Not a good start to Season 0. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.(nothing to do with the Apprentice’s baking abilities though).

That screenshot implies they are not awarded in a satchel like during jesters, but straight to currency tab like tickets used to.

It won’t be in inventory since it’s not a satchel this time. It rewards the trade bars and send them straight to the Bazaar page

I cannot recall the amount of bars I had before first use of cake to check if have been given them. But do know there was no pop up saying anything, satchel or bars, rewarded.

Just would like consistency. Either as a satchel OR straight to currency. Not a mixture of both. That is just frustrating.

They need to be consistent and put these in a satchel every time. There is no reason to keep us guessing how to keep track. Now we have to open the currency tab and note how many bars we have to make sure we get them. Why? Just put them in a satchel for every event.

As well, it appears that you get your trade bars from your first Daily as well if you haven't eaten your cake. Whichever comes first. I got mine from eating cake, as I was expecting to. But guildmates got them from their first daily, because they did that before eating the cake.

The main article on the ESO site says from eating cake. But the announcement splash screen at login says from first daily. Would be nice if both sources indicated that either method can earn them.

Several players liked the idea because then we know for certain that we received them. It would eliminate situations like this from coming up if they were in satchels every time.

Because I got the trade bars but the add on said I didn't.

The Dolgubon Lazy Writ Crafter can also auto-open event boxes (at least on console).

It opened my gold box and my trade bars this morning before I noticed, and I was pretty confused for a few minutes, since it didn't open the last event's boxes. But then I remembered, turned off auto-open, and now I'm good.

Odd, I did my daily crafting writs first and didn't get any Trade Bars from turning them in or opening any Boxes, I only got the Bars after eating the cake once I got it.

That's how I understood it would work (and how it's always worked before). I wonder if they just got the last Jesters bars from those dailies and didn't realise they could still get them from the cake too later?

Will definitely double check later when I log on to PC

Huh, I'm so used to just closing those that I don't even skim them I just hit E lol. That's...strange then, because that wasn't the case for me.

Seems events always have something go belly-up lol.

I just got the cake and used it but did not see a notice telling me I got bars. Please either put the bars in satchels (give us a toggle for the option so those that don't like the idea don't have to use it) or give us an obvious annoucement that we got bars.

It seems that the trade bars are showing up in the default in-game loot tracker but not the LootDrop Reborn addon. I usually use the addon and have the default tracker turned off, and I wasn't seeing a notification for trade bars when I ate my cake. I checked before and after amounts on another account and verified that I was receiving my trade bars. And then on a third account, I enabled the default loot tracker, and the trade bars did show up there (but not in LootDrop, which I still had enabled).

So tl;dr it's most likely an addon thing. You can either enable the default loot tracker or hope that the addon will be updated to properly display the bars.
