Trade bar understanding

I'm trying to understand the trade bar thing. So it's obvious its tickets that are multiplied by 100 but is it still once per day? For example the festival dropped 400 for me, I think, and no more. It's clear there was never enough time to get enough for one of the awards that cost 50000 it seems. I'm trying to understand if this is the same where items will disappear and there will be partial collections, etc. Do these items come back some time. So many questions. It dies feel like priming for pushing subscriptions as it seems they don't give enough for an event to buy anything with them.

In Zenimax's defence (and they don't need me, an unpaid player, to defend them,)
    1. Jester's Festival is one of the shortest events in the game. Maybe the shortest. Perhaps because it's immediately followed up by the infinitely superior Jubilee.
    2. You get as many bars in a day as you would have gotten tickets. The festival should have been giving you 300 bars a day, because the festival used to give you 3 tickets a day. Have you been opening the trade bar coffers to get your trade bars?
    3. All of the items *presently* on the Gold Coast Bazaar have been deemed forever rewards. They're going to be there forever.
    4. Most events gave you more tickets than you strictly needed to get the fragment pieces released in that event, but not much. The Jubilee alone will give you 4.2k. The real ringer for tickets (and therefore bars) will be, like it had been previously, the New Life event in December.
    5. The free tome coming out in two days will also give 9k bars for doing various tasks (along the line of golden pursuits) in game, as per the official news post today.
    6. There will be seasonal rotating stock in the Bazaar, but we won't see what that is until two days from now. The pricing on that could be too brutal for what bars we can earn in just a season's time. That's totally possible. We just can't know that for sure until it's on the Bazaar.
    7. You might be exaggerating for effect, but as far as I can tell the most expensive offering *currently* in the bazaar is an 11k home. That should be doable in a month's time, if you do the Jubilee every day and the free tome.

All that to say is, don't be worried yet. If you have your heart set on something on the Bazaar right now, you will definitely be able to get *that,* at least. It remains to be seen how reasonable or unreasonable the prices will be for the seasonal rewards to be released shortly.
    I care what you think.

Appreciate it. I was looking at the normal vendor, is there another place for the Bazaar?

Jesters awards 300 Trade Bars per day. Jester's is also the shortest annual event, running almost exactly one week since it goes directly into Anniversary at 10am Eastern on Thursday. The big "however" with that is that Jester's is the last Q1 event, so the stuff you can spend Trade Bars on which is defined by quarter will be going away for a while.

Morphable pets are for the full year, but morph fragments will come back at New Life in December. The Impresario will have all the year's fragments at that time, but only has Q1 stuff during Q1, Q2 stuff in Q2, etc. The Indrik vendor also rotates quarterly, but her Q1 stuff will be back in Q1 next year. The Assistant's stock rotates quarterly, too, but he's been changing the morphable pet after four quarters and carrying one of its morphs each quarter. His stuff will come back eventually, however.

The stuff that's in the Gold Coast Bazaar is in two broad sections. The "Evergreen" stuff is the stuff that's going to be there more or less permanently. The seasonal stuff will rotate in and out with each season (think "quarterly" and you won't be too far off).

EDIT: the prices on the quarterly stuff were set with the idea that players would be participating in multiple events across the quarter. Each quarter typically has 75-100 tickets available from events (7500-10,000 Trade Bars). Morph fragments are staggered with the first fragment available during the first event (Whitestrake's Mayhem for Q1), the first two fragments available at the second event (Heart's Week, I think), and all three fragments available at the third (Jester's). Big-ticket morphs (5 fragments) tend to be staggered with the first two available at the first event, the first three available at the second, and all five available at the last. Big-ticket morphs are generally Q4 since New Life has the most event tickets available. I really need to stop thinking in terms of tickets rather than Trade Bars, but <math> Trade Bars = tickets * 100 </math>.

I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

It's just the Gold Coast Bazaar tab in the Crown Store. And yes, there's not a whole lot there yet, but I do see one thing I missed out on in a prior event I'd like to have. I'll probably be able to grab it tonight.

How soon do we have to spend the trade bars we have now before they expire?

    Trade Bars do not expire.

The only thing that can be lost is Tome Points which reset every season, the same way every other game’s season pass currency does. As such, it is best to make sure you spend your Tome Points (only up to 2000 will credit to the next season) before the season ends.

Thank you, tomofhyrule, very much. Hope you have a good season. Now I understand one thing about what's happening.
