What items will this years bat pet collectable be able to morph into?

I'm trying to decide whether to spend my tomes on the bat collectable fragments or not. What items will the collectable morph into this year? Is the mount one of them? (can't remember the mounts name, but I got the saddle for it as a drop already this Jesters Festival)

Will the bat pet be needed to generate the mount then?

The pets don't morph any more. The horse pieces are separate.

You don't lose the pet to make the mount or recall or whatever else is coming that they haven't told us about. So get the pet if you want the pet, or don't if you don't, it won't affect your ability to get the big "morphs" that aren't really morphs.

The first ‘morph’ is the recall animation and the second is a mount.

We do not have the information on the other versions yet, but the third will likely be at least hinted at on PTS when U50 pops in on the 13th

Starting this year, pets don't morph. Or at least they are no longer consumed by morphing, so one pet works for the whole year. No clue on what the Q3 and Q4 morphs will be, but Q1 was a recall animation (have to wait until New Life if you didn't snag the fragments before the end of Jester's) and Q2 will be a mount. I strongly suspect we'll get an answer on the Q3 morph in a few weeks when that stuff goes up on PTS.

Do I have to have the combined the fragments for the bat pet in order to be able to combine the fragments for the mount? ..once I get all the fragments for the mount that is. In other words, do I have to have the bat pet BEFORE I can combine the fragments for the mount? ...or can I just combine the mount fragments without having the bat pet?

I was never clear on this even after listening to the live stream. Probably a problem with my comprehension, but I feel like ZOS could have been more clear about how this was going to work as well.

No. You only need 3 mount fragments for the mount. There is no morphing anymore at all. If you don't want the bat as a pet, you don't need to get any bat parts at all.

In case Kevin doesn't answer: The second collectible this year was a fast-travel animation. I could get that by only using the 3 parts for that collectible, without owning the bat (or any bat parts) at all.
