Engulfing Dragonfire VFX disappears

I've been running into an issue where my DK would be channeling Engulfing Dragonfire and it starts out normally but then its entire visual component disappears. The character is still doing the channeling animation and the damage still ticks but there are just no flames. It seems to happen mostly in dungeons and this may not be relate but I don't think it started happening until I learned Incinerate and started using it in conjunction with Engulfing Dragonfire.

✭✭✭✭I have also noticed this intermittently. As far as I can tell, it seems to mostly happen on a build where I'm using engulfing dragonfire back to back, repeatedly.
I haven't really noticed it happening on my other dk build where I'm using dragonfire once and then mixing in some other skills before using it again.
But then again I could just be noticing it on the first build because it's being used more frequently, so I dunno if that helps.
Oh and also for what it's worth, I am not (actively) using incinerate like the OP, but I do have it slotted for the passive bonus.Edited by valenwood_vegan on March 25, 2026 3:10PM0 -

✭Still no change after today's patch. Everyone I know who uses this skill reports the same problem. In fact I'm so sick of it not working that I'm going to subclass and change abilities.
