My son, wife, and I were all watching from the beginning. The counter kept stopping. After an hour, we were all around 97% of 45 minutes and before we got to 100% and could claim it, sometime in Jess's roundtable, we got this:
What the heck?
It sounds to me like Session Zero of a TTRPG campaign where you roll up your characters and establish the setting information before you really jump in, but maybe that's just me?I'm excited, but I have some reservations and concerns.
- Season 0 is an odd name for the first season. Harkens me back to programming 101, where you learn how arrays work. Naming in general has some oddities - like subclassing isn't subclassing. It's multi-classing. Things like that, small fries, but still could be improved.

A small side note: If these features would have been mentioned in that very first 2026 stream in January - the one that was almost entirely about rewards and the content pass - I think many players would have been much less upset, because it would have been clear that getting no new zones doesn't mean no new content. It felt like "not getting anything new to do" had been their biggest worry.
We tested this on our end and we got all of the crates. If you had an issue with Twitch Drops, please place a ticket and customer service will help you out. There will also be recap streams from other territories with twitch drops available throughout the week.
Did you have any other streams open in parallel? Because I'm pretty sure the issue is with Twitch and having another stream open gets the site confused even if you were watching the correct one.
Hi Everyone! Thanks for tuning in to the 2026 ESO Seasons Reveal Stream. If you missed the live show, the VOD is available to be viewed here.
With the reveal stream finished, we now want to hear from you! Let us know what you think about what's in store for Season Zero, One, and Two in 2026. The things you like, dislike, or have general questions about. This is your thread to communicate your initial thoughts about any of the content shown by the ESO Dev team today. We will use commentary posted here as a reference point for communication between now and various Season Releases.
We also have a longer survey for those interested in giving us feedback on how you feel about the stream generally and the seasonal content plan for 2026. You can fill that survey out here.
Your constructive feedback* and questions will let us know what information we can better clarify in the coming weeks and leading up to new seasons. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on all of the content announced today! Also feel free to participate in the poll as well!
*Friendly reminder to keep the Community Rules in mind when replying. Thank you!
You should address the broken twitch drops, quite a few didn't get their crates.
I was there for over an hour and only got one crate.

Understand, I don't want this to sound mean or condescending, but I do want to give honest feedback. I have NO interest in the petty squables between different groups of outcasts vying for power in an outcast daedric plane. In that regard, it's a big immersion breaker because outside of the rewards, I have no in-game motivation to answer the question "why am I here?". I can only speak for myself, but I would have preferred something more like (Heroes of Tamriel/Daedric Cultists/Independents"Freelancers") as the three options. They are broad strokes that allow for roleplay value. Am I here to bring back power for my original home game faction or homeland back home? Do I worship a daedric prince or seek their support? Or do I see myself as an independent "rift walker" esque rogue, wandering the outer realms like Yagrum Bagarn from Morrowind, or merely in it for myself? The current planned factions are too narrow and too local in focus for me to actually have an interest in them as there's no connection to what my character's goals are. I really think the factions need to be completely redone or this might flop. No offense, but I think you just missed the mark here designing these factions. As it is, I'll step foot in the zone, but I have no care or motivation to work for any of these beings/factions, and without a lore or immersive reason to be there, I think you'll get lack of interest or burnout really fast.
I watched Artteas and SkinnyCheeks summaries of the Seasons Direct and both state the the High Seas of Tamriel will only be temporary. I didn't catch that during the livestream and I don't believe it was stated as such. That is rather disappointing because that is probably the feature I am looking forward to the most.
I hope it can become a permant addition to the game, like you said about the Night Market, if players want that.
I'm most commonly the "ride the hype train at your peril" guy. That said, what ZOS discussed in the live steam and the two roundtables has a lot of stuff that I'm looking forward to checking out. I'm not going to claim that it's fantastic stuff based on the advertising, but it's intriguing enough that I will definitely be there to experience it when it goes live. "Cautiously optimistic," maybe?
I didn't think anything could make me interested in a Sheogorath story, but I'm glad to be mistaken. The rumors and favors look very interesting and, hopefully, immersive. It's nice to see some less-celebrated npcs returning. I am really looking forward to the Thieves Guild continuation as well.
And thank-you, thank-you for the solo dungeons! That is right up my alley and I'm excited to be able to explore them.
There is certainly a lot coming this year that I think will be fun to do.
