Twitch drops ended before the stream was even over

The twitch drops for the livestream were cut off before the stream was even over. So many people said they just needed a few more minutes, or were there from the beginning and were cut off with only a minute to go on the 5X crate drop.

Can you restream and let us finish the drop since it was pre recorderd? We would all really appreciate it.

There were multiple twitch errors throughout the stream that also inhibited drop progress :/ I didn't end up getting anything other than the first crate even though I was there from the beginning of the stream.

We aren't the only ones either, tons of people in chat are also saying they either had an error, or their progress stopped early/got cut off.

I was able to claim the first crate and open it, but never received the next three that I claimed, and then cutoff before the 5 could be claimed.

    They did.

I watched almost from the start, but my stream bugged out a few times and at the end I was about 10 minutes short of claiming the last 5 crates. Quite ironic, given that I just watched 60 minutes of devs talking about how they wanted to relieve FOMO.

Reminds me of the january 7th stream, where I missed out on 8 crates when I logged in 15 minutes late because I just came home from work. Never got a chance to catch up on those.

This is not the best way to create enthousiasm for your streams, to put it very mildly.

The stream was just over 45 minutes long, and the final drop was for watching 45 minutes. Did you stick around after the credits for the 2nd half of the stream where they conducted the round table discussions?

Yes, obviously. That's when the complaints in chat started and when we all realized that we were shot/the drops cut off before the stream actually ended. The last drop said 1 hour. I said I was there from the beginning to the end, which means the whole discussions.

I claimed the first 2, then my drop counter for the 3rd stopped at 91% well before the stream ended, and now that I log in I see I have received 0 crates.

Editing to say I have since received the 4 crates I was able to claim.

Friend of mine didnt even received any time on the crates at all!
Is there anything that can be done about that?
She was there at the exact time the stream started, tough twitch never registered her "watching" the stream, she was livestreaming for me so i have seen all of it...
Would be nice if she still can get the crates....

Anyone from Zos can help me out with this?

For some of us, the drop counters froze and never continued to progress beyond a certain point after the stream had an error, in spite of continuing to watch the stream until the very end.

Twitch drops can be buggy in unpredictable ways. I had no issues today, but had lots of issues a few weeks ago the last time they did 8 crates. The big thing is that when you have a weeklong campaign people can try a different browser or different stream or come back later. When you give a 45 min drop a 59 minute window you're going to inevitably run into problems. The stream was prerecorded. There is no reason they couldn't have had the drops go for 24 hours and played the prerecorded segment on a loop. Then people would be able to get the drops not only in the case of technical issues but also time zones and irl commitments.

Yes a re-stream or encore stream that lasts longer would really be much appreciated by those that encountered these errors, especially since it was pre-recorded.

The problem is they can't fix it now because they set the drop window intentionally short. They've been doing this for a while now. That's why drops stopped before the stream was even over. Hopefully they reconsider these choices in the future.

They could run a recap with a fresh campaign, I suppose.

A recap stream would be nice of them in view of the fact it affected so many people, more than just those posting here. Like tons commented that they had issues in the stream chat.

Edit to add: Also with a clear announcement of when the recap would be so nobody misses it. Or if they could run it on loop, maybe, and give us like 24 hours

I allways run GF to help others since I already have all trial items. But, I noticed: most groups are full of 2bar players doing lowers DPS then 1bar players, and RD keep gatekeeping 1bar players for no reason at all.
