No drop from Thorn's Bite Withersteed fragment

There's one day left in the event and I still haven't received the "Thorn's Bite Withersteed" fragment. From what I understand, it should come from the golden box, but nothing yet. If I don't get it by the end of the event, will I lose the fragment? I've been doing the event every day since the beginning.

By the way, I've already completed all parts of the new Outfit style: One Bad Knight, and even so, nothing of the mount fragment.

The fragment will be purchasable from the Impresario once the Anniversary Jubilee event starts, so you will not miss out on it.

That fragment isn't technically part of this event. This event's fragment is the third and final piece of the recall animation.

What ZOS is doing here is making a luck-based chance to get the Anniversary event fragment one event early. They're doing the same next event, where there's a chance to get the next fragment even though it technically won't be available until the next event (I think ZoZ after the patch)

The "Blooming Saddle" IS a part of this event. They made it as a possible reward in the Stupendous Jester's Festival Box. Even going so far as to state:

NEW: First fragment for the Thorn's Bite Withersteed morphing collectible: Blooming Saddle. If you’ve already earned the Blooming Saddle, a One Bad Knight style page will be awarded instead

Having to spend 'trade bars' on the next event (Anniversary Jubilee) to purchase something that someone else was given freely during the Jester's Festival is a slap in the face, especially when both people fully participated in the current Jesters Fest. This is a bad move on ZOS's part. Up until this moment, all things related to event type of rewards were purchased using currency that someone EARNED PRIOR TO PURCHASE OF THE ITEM. None of these event items were given away for FREE I don't care if this is a randomized thing on who gets a 'Blooming Saddle' for free. ZOS is still using RNG to pick winners and losers when EVERYONE who spent time working this event every day doing all the quests should have received one. Why should I have to use trade bars to purchase a 'Blooming Saddle' when many others received it for FREE!

To tomofhyrule: We are not talking about the last piece for recall. That piece and all of the pieces for the recall are ONLY OBTAINED by purchasing all three pieces from the Impresario AFTER EARNING the currency needed to obtain them. WE ARE talking about the 1st piece for the mount! On the Anniversary Event, the 2nd piece will be a crap-shoot drop for the mount. If you don't get it, you will have to buy the 2nd one as well on the next event. I can only assume this will be the same for the 3rd and final piece for the mount. THIS WAS A VERY BAD DECISION ON ZOS's PART! Anyone who participated EXTENSIVELY in the Jester's Fest SHOULD HAVE been awarded the 'Blooming Saddle' as a reward from their Stupendous Jester's Festival Box!!!!! AND, IN ALL FAIRNESS, all of the pieces for this mount SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE IMPRESARIO TO PURCHASE. No one should get any of these pieces for FREE!

On three Accounts just killing King Boar each day, nothing else(Oh cider apple quest too) I have the piece on two accounts, maybe I was just lucky!

I think you are going overboard. Every previous event you can miss something so you go buy it at Guild Traders with IC gold. Or you use tickets and buy it from impresario. Trade bars are IC currency. If the item is important to you and you are not lucky enough to have it in a box, you decide how important it is to you.

It's not like it's costing real money.

You cannot buy items needed (fragments, pt 1, 2 or 3 of whatever, etc) that are purchased from the Impresario that are used to make other things. Those items are bound and CANNOT BE BOUGHT FROM A GUILD TRADER OR TRADED IN ANY WAY.

So you stance is: "If I cant have nice things, then no one should"...

I didnt get the saddle yet, and I really want that mount. But im not certainly not feeling "slapped in the face" about it. Im happy to everyone that got it, and am perfectly content to get it with trade bars tomorrow when its in the ticket vendor. Honestly, I was just happy with the opportunity to get it free. Which was considerably better then before when I had no opportunity to get it for free. Maybe im just a glass is half full kinda person, maybe I don't see unfairness when I dont get something that someone else gets with an equal chance, maybe I dont get upset when I see other people gaining things, maybe I dont believe that I am just automatically entitled to something for free just because I want it.

The witches festival had a chance to get the Hollow Jack Bust in the first (gold) plunder skull from that boss per day. You could not trade that, you could not buy it with tickets. Which is arguably far worse then the saddle fragment because you need to wait until the next Halloween event to get the bust if it didnt drop for you, and no one complained about that! But this fragment which you can still at least purchase with bars tomorrow, is somehow different then that? Honestly the sow fragments are far more of a problem then this saddle. You cant even get those with trade bars, with an absolute horrible drop rate and it only drops during an event that lasts a week.

I do not see anyone that got the fragment for free "getting an edge" or "unfairly better then me" while I am probably going to be spending my 1000 bars on that fragment tomorrow. Probably also will be spending 1000 bars on the next fragment too while someone else gets that one for free... because my RNG always sucks lol But that is okay, as long as I can obtain it from somewhere (trade bars) I dont see the issue. Now if there was no way to get it on my own (trade bars) then ya I would be mad. But as it is I am perfectly content to see other people get it and congratulate them.

I think it's nice that they gave out the next fragment for free to some players. It's just some extra trade bars for everyone on average. I'm not sure what to say to players who are mad about other people getting a fairly minor thing for free, other than hope that you get the next random free item and try to enjoy your time until then.
