Cache of Tomb Points?

Just logged in to get 7 Premium Tomb Tokens and "7 Caches of Tomb Points"... Both show in my currencies, but...
If the latter is something I can open for Tomb Points (which is what "cache" suggests), where are they? I can't find them in my inventory.

This is related to the Tamriel Tomes. It might be launching the day after tomorrow?

Since I had ESO+ active from December to March with a 3-month renewal from March to June, I've received 5 Caches and 5 Premium Tome Tokens, so this is working as Kevin mentioned below:

Hi everyone! We want to share a quick update on ESO Plus benefits in relation to Seasons and the seasonal currencies. We have a path forward to make sure everyone who has an active ESO Plus subscription starting at the beginning of 2026 will get the seasonal currencies. This includes those who purchased multi-month subscriptions before January 2026 that covered January, February, and/or March 2026.

New ESO Plus memberships from March 9, 2026 onwards will receive their seasonal currencies alongside the purchase (delivered similar to how Crowns arrive now), while players with active memberships between January 1, 2026 and March 9, 2026 will have their currencies retroactively awarded on March 30, 2026. In both cases, the currencies are being delivered before the Season Zero launch on April 2. Please note that seasonal currencies will not be spendable until the Season Zero launch.

Yes they are, but you can't open them there.

This whole system is confusing. I can't open my caches of tome points. I assume once I do they will appear in "tome points" which is 0 now. I don't quite get why the caches appear in the currency list but not in our inventory, like other caches (e.g., transmute crystals). And premium tome tokens are yet another thing?

Not even counting gold and crowns, I now have 14 (!) different types of in-game currencies. Can some of this be consolidated? It seems unnecessarily restrictive. For example, maybe we only need one type of PvP currency to replace tel var, alliance points, and imperial fragments. Maybe one type of currency for group PVE content, to replace crystals and keys. Instead of earning gems when you deconstruct crate rewards, maybe you could instead just get some crowns back. So many possibilities for simplification.

Also maybe eliminating outfit change tokens and just letting us change our outfits when we want, like the recent very popular respec changes.

Oh. and a guildie reminded me we also have race change tokens, name change tokens and alliance change tokens, which for whatever reason appear on your login screen rather than in your currencies...

Please simplify this system. "Play the way you want" would be furthered in concept by not requiring so many different types of activities to earn distinct currencies, when all give similar types of things - skins, mounts, costumes, consumables, etc.

Having race, name, and alliance tokens invisible in the inventory is a good thing, as there's already a lot there.

Tome Points are not confusing once the Tome is actually live. I'm down for them to simplify the currencies a bit, but the sky isn't falling because people spend a few seconds confused about a new feature that is about to land. Wait just a little longer and enjoy the Tome (or not).

I also only got 2 tokens and caches even though I have had a subscription for years and two weeks ago, my half-year subscription auto-renewed. ZOS_Kevin advices me to contact customer support. They should be able to correct this for us.

Regarding the cached of tome points: tome points itself are used to unlock rewards and further pages of rewards in a seasonal tome. Normally, tome points are rewarded for doing tasks (like the now retired endeavor system). But you can use these caches to get ahead if you want. They are not automatically converted into actual tome points. You decide when you want to convert one as the tome points that you get when converting a cache into points can only be used in the on-going season. This is at least how I understand it works.

This is a part I have questions about. We only got to test the first few pages on pts, so if we get to the end of a Tome's planned rewards will there be something small that you can redeem infinitely or are any excess tome points lost to the void? I haven't seen ZOS say either way and I've been trying to read as much as I can about the new system to help answer questions for people.

I have been subbed since April 2023 but on a monthly basis. I have 3 caches (presumably counting for January/February/March this year). Sounds like yours is definitely wrong if you have been subbed all that time.
