Seasonal currencies for subs that renewed or were started before March 9 will happen March 30.

But I didn't recall Trade Bars being granted with ESO+ going forward. I thought it was Caches of Tome Points and the tokens that act as credits towards a Premium Tome upgrade. Did I miss something? Looking here.

No, you will not be able to gift. But there will be many opportunities for all players to earn Trade Bars in-game. Through events, Twitch Drops, Tamriel Tomes, etc.

I think offering trade bars for using Twitch is wrong. Drop items is fine, but dropping trade bars is like buying attention.

I personally don’t really mind it myself. When I get Oroboros Crates for watching a Twitch drop the only reason I’m getting them is for the gems that I can convert the items in the crates into.

I would SO much prefer trade bars over Ourboros Crates. Heck, I'd prefer a purple treasure item to vendor for gold more than an Ourboros Crate.

Trade Bars is a new currency, replacing Event Tickets. So this is a new currency for everyone. I believe the ESO Plus currency you are referring to are Tome Tokens. But for sake of this FAQ, just wanted to make this distinction before answering your question.

Tome Tokens are rewarded for ESO Plus membership. Once you have 12, you can trade them to upgrade any active Tamriel Tome to a premium + bonus tier. Depending on when your ESO Plus was purchased, you either should have gotten some currency today or will be apart of the March 31 grant for Tome Tokens. Everyone should have all correct tokens by March 31.

While Trade Bars function similarly to Event Tickets, how they work behind the scenes is different. The system needed to be built to accommodate no cap limit along with other functional systems. Which is why we don't have the cap for Trade Bars. It was not a simple, remove the cap off Event Tickets fix.

I did submit a ticket in game, but I thought maybe it would get some eyes here as well. When the tickets were changed to bars, I only received 800 when I should have received 1200. I only found out yesterday the exchange rate is 1:100 or I would have submitted a ticket sooner. I know I had 12 tickets at the end of last event. I am very careful about that as I like going into a new event fully loaded. If you need to know my case number, I can provide that. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks

Sorry to repost this, but i was informed by a fellow player i should ping you. If this is the wrong page to do that, i apologize, but i need to tell someone about the trade bars error, and submitting a ticket did not seem to do anything. I should have gotten 1200 bars at the switch, but i only received 800. Please help.

So like I end each event with at least 10 tickets and when I saw my bars I only had 100 on EU and 300 on PC. That seems wrong.

Are there any plans in the future for Trade Bars to be available in the Crown Store? Even if at a daily / weekly purchase cap?

The reason I ask is although I see we can carry an unlimited amount of Trade Bars now, the 300 per day limit seems to create a reward redemption issue.

Take style pages, for example. Any full set will include 7 pieces for a total of 3,500 Bars. This would require 12 full days of Trade Bar earning to redeem them all.

In the course of a 14 day long event this means that players, seemingly have to choose which reward they want to earn and play for and leave the rest.

In the past, despite being able to only carry 12 tickets, one could purchase extra if, say, there were multiple rewards they wanted to obtain or if they were unable to participate in all of the days of the event. That was a more accommodating system whereas this seems to exclude quite a bit.

Even though events are seemingly going to run back to back, one assumes the rewards will change with each event.

I don’t think everyone is going to want to obtain every reward, but I do think that there should be some method or instrument where players can obtain different types of rewards rather than just being committed to one or one type due to the daily Bar limit.

Even when we had the ticket structure we saw lots of activity and the event merchants and quest providers so I’m also not under the impression that the majority of players were just buying tickets and not playing the content, in fact, more like the opposite. I think the Crown Store simply provided a nice supplement for when those event rewards were particularly of interest for someone.

So, my trade bars have still not been fixed. It's been a week since i submitted a ticket, i've tagged you in this forum and gave you my ticket number... i don't know what else to do. Is this going to be fixed? i feel like i've been left to dry in the middle of nowhere. i'm sure this new system was tricky to implement, but honestly i'm a bit frustrated about the whole thing. If you could shine some kinda light on this, i would be truly grateful. If my trade bars could be fixed before the end of Jester's Festival, that would be ideal. Please. and Thank you.

If you participated daily to get that many bars, then you also would've gotten at least 2 of those style pages (you get one a day, but with a chance at duplicates, so we'll say you only got 2 pages). Those pages are not bound, and have dropped in price significantly by the end of the event that you could purchase them for gold or else trade with other players. If you chose not to participate at all and thus not get any bars, but you still want the style pages, again just buy them from players. There isn't a need to pick and choose rewards when most of them are either tradeable or can be purchased from the holiday vendor (the furnishings). If you want the fragments or morphs, that's where your bars would have to go to first as the only source.
