I just cancelled my subscription. I am a PVP guy and love playing against real players. But this is a numbers game ( who ever has the bigger zerg wins) Skill plays little into to the PVP compared to time. A lot of time i.e becoming VR10 seems to be the only edge. At VR1 full armor I still get rolled quite fast by VR5+ if I get the lucky chance of even running into one solo.
Talking about solo. ESO made PVE so you could solo. But soloing in PVP is a joke.
And speaking of PVP. Where is the incentive? The fact that you get Alliance points for either killing a player or repairing wall, taking down wall, etc. Make these PVP rewards more of a PVE thing with a splash of PVP.
After I play a few hours of PVE in a day I would like to go compete in PVP. This is just not possible in this game. There is no real reward feeling in PVP except for a few elite players in Cyrodill. ( this is my assumption at least that some players are enjoying this)
If they had areas with keeps and implement level caps, would be ideal. levels 1-10 zone ,11-20 zone.etc
Keep the Cyrodill the way it is but give us some options.
Cyrodill is for the end game. We would like some PVP before the endgame.
Give us some more PVP options and I will come back.
Lastly, like other posters I have subscribed for the 3 month thinking this was going to be a game I was going to play for years and years. With in less then 2 months I have felt more negative emotions then positive ones in this game. Maybe its because all of the young kids who play and just have no respect for any one the meet online, which ends up making other players just feel like crap. Maybe its because of all of the bots hoarding resources and items then selling and spamming ruins the experience. or Maybe its because any one who loves PVP feels compelled to race through the game to get VR10. Or... maybe its a perfect storm of all these attributes forming an unsavory meal or a self inflecting wound of a poorly mixed potion. Oh I forgot to mention the bag space, crazy expensive. And I find over 1/4th of my time in bag management. Of course this wouldn't be the case if I didn't attempt three crafts on one character. But after a few weeks of that much bag management and ZERO positive PVP encounters. I feel burnt out. Normally I would just cancel and not say anything. But I feel the mass is speaking and if ESO wants to keep the money flowing which I know they do because the entire game is made just to get as much money as possible from its players. They will try to fix these issues before its to late. I am tired of ranting and tired of spending my days playing for what I interpret to be nothing positive. And I LOVE MMO's and more then that I love PVP.
Would like to mention, that it took over a week just to figure out how to play this game on my system. I ended up having to turn off processors down to 16 cores just to run it. Who ever heard a system that was to powerful for a game? Well the process of figuring this out with ESO reps was a long and painful process in its self. Every time I want to play, I have to launch a special program and disable processors.
Ok ok, i am done this time.
Hopefully when I catch up with this game again there will at least be some PVP alternatives.
