Armour effects

in regards to Tarnished Nightmare or Macabre Vintage, what is best suited to the Armour proc damage, Direct or AOE, or do neither apply... I got asked the question, and I simp;ly do not know the exact answer, so I thought I would ask here!

For PVE or PVP? If PVP, Macabre Vintage is useless. Even in PVE, it looks like more of a trash mob set as it would not work reliably, or at all, on most bosses.

Tarnished Nightmare is a decent PVP set and is used a lot. But there are much better sets for PVE, like Pillars of Nirn

I was tryin g to explain the champion points system old to new (current), and i was asked the question ab out armour procs, both sets, I honestly Do not know!

So a bit of Self education if nothing else.

Oh got it. These can be tricky. Check out ESO Hub, they are usually good about explaining what CP helps the set:

Bleed can also be buffed by Thaumaturge as it is a DOT, but you are correct, some of the proc sets are confusing as to which CP does what
