Are there enough trade bar sources?

In the past tickets were solely used for the impressario and the event / seasonal fragments, outfits... now since trade bars have a lot more use including all the skill styles... shouldnt there also be a lot more sources to acquire trade bars? Because if they only come from events; how can we acquire things outside of the seasonal / event items if most gets eaten up there...
What other sources for trade bars will there be in the future outside of events?

Tamriel Tomes will have 9000 free Trade Bars and 1500 in the paid version.

Jester's Festival and Jubilee have 300 per day. unsure if every event has 300, it might be 200 for some.

The upcoming PvP Veterancy progression system should have Bars too.
And then there is a chance of a small amount of them from Monsters in at least Night Market, unsure if that is from anywhere.

I imagine as they work out any kinks in the system that they'll start adding other ways to get them in the future beyond just Tomes and Events. Maybe things like Random Daily Dungeons and Rewards of the Worthy will eventually have them added too. Perhaps eventually higher Overland difficulties will have them as occassional drops. It would make sense for there to be a lot of ways to get them considering certain things like Mimic Stones and Outfit Tokens, as well as other Consumables, have been added to it. And ESPECIALLY since Outfit Tokens are no long available in the CS, people would need another way to be able to get them quickly, so it stands to reason (imo at least) that as time goes on more ways of getting them will be added.

If ever they want more trade bars released into the game, all they'd likely need to do is attach some to a Golden Pursuit.

Attaching them to permanent game activities would probably never happen because should they ever decide to dial it back, holy hell would rain down on them from the playerbase.

my guess is sources will likely be:
    • events
    • tamriel tomes
    • gold pursuits

events will have the standard 200-300 per day (2-3 tickets per day equivalent)

tomes will likely have more spread out over a longer period of time, and gold pursuits could be whatever zos felt like doing (such as similar with the current pursuit and the seals of endeavor)

While 9000 (or 10500) seems like a lot, I've noticed that just one music box will set us back 2000 trade bars.

There are a LOT of collectibles to buy through the Bazaar too. I do think we will need more regular events or golden pursuits to be able to buy what we want.

Luckily these current items should stay forever (for an undetermined time).

it is also possible that after a few Seasons ZOS might increase the amount of Trade Bars from certain sources if players give feedback about it, or decrease the Bazaar prices.

i did notice the prices on some of the items were high, like the breton hero statue was 3500 bars

as someone who has been playing for a very long time, i already have like roughly 75-80% of the items available in the bazaar collected already

to put it another way, 1000 bar items are basically equivalent to 10 ticket cost items, big numbers just make it seem more expensive to be honest

There is going to be a seasonal set of items and a permanent set of items.

The seasonal set of items will drop on the 2ns when the Season officially starts.

At the look of the prices in the bazaar, I don't think there are enough sources of bars even with tomes. They should of kept the ability to buy them in crown store tbh.

I dunno. The Jester's Festival lasts for , what, a week ? 7 days, x 300 = 2100. Even if they changed everything out after the Season, thats 3 months of accumulating. no idea what the going rates will be outside of Special Festival type times will be, but there are enough events through the Season to be able to earn a good number of bars.

Just make a list of what is most important to you and earn the bars over time.

It's free stuff earned soley from in-game participation.

Are people really complaining and worrying about not being able to get Everything ?

Cosmetics are not pay to win so yeah why shouldn't I be able to spend my money to get everything in the store? At the end of the day zos is being paid the only downside is people getting mad because ''they got that and I didn't'' kind of behaviour.

i agree its kinda weird going from 12 tickets 1200 bars to putting something in store for 9000 xD i guess we as someone who missed some previous reward should get the discount on the old ones so we can catch up or smthing. will see how it turns around...

Wait and see is the best idea. We don't know what season 1 will have or if tomes will start giving less to buy each season. We don't actually know all the in game sources yet. We know the trial boss of the night market gives a few so we don't know what we don't know.

Also, and I think this is key, Zos probably doesn't want you to be able to get everything in the bazaar quickly. They want you to fear missing out on the seasonal offerings and grind bars out (we know the best source will be tomes so gotta engage with it to get bars) to get the seasonal ones. The good thing about the evergreen selection is that it will be there. But I highly doubt the intent is that we're able to get things quick. More like an extended grind to keep us engaged and on the gameplay loop. That benefits them and it also benefits us by giving us cool stuff we may have otherwise not gotten, with something to work towards. I think when you're a vet player, you have gear and done quests, there's not a huge amount of things to work towards. I know some vets will have some of the evergreen items but not all and we don't know what the seasonal stuff will be. So I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to buy everything right away. As Tomofhyrule said, a year from now we'll all probably be complaining about having too many trade bars and nothing to buy.

You will be able to buy everything. Eventually. If they made everything 300 bars, then give us 10,500 bars, we'd buy everything and have nothing to work towards, and maybe not engage with the new content loop.

You are not paying money for the items in the Trade Bar store. You earn the bars In-Game.

Why else would they list items that you could not possibly accumulate enough trade bars before the Start of the Season ?

Because they're the permanent items to work towards.

I really don't see that a shortage of bars is going to be a problem long term. I had soooo many tickets I wasted on things I didn't really want or need because of the cap. I have a full 20 of each of the companion commendations even tho I have them all levelled and no new ones are in sight, and so many group repair kits even tho I rarely do group content. I have anniversary cakes in half my houses just to use up all the tickets in the event. All those will just build up now. Especially with the 9k free with this coming season.

Things look a bit expensive but I had plenty of spare tickets in a year to get the Doomchar house on an alt in addition to all the current morphs. It's the same as Seals, you can get whatever you want but shouldn't expect to be able to get everything

Because this is a new system, I expect them to tweak it some. Probably based on feedback. It is designed to get more interaction out of players than just having them sitting in West Weald and Vivec City. I think that is a good thing. Also, the pace of it seems to be solely up to the players which is also a good thing. How this will pair with events like say the Jubilee, is up for interpretation.

It seems like the events won't be much of a priority simply because the items you can obtain aren't as nice, though you could spend those bars in the bazaar instead. I wouldn't be surprised if later on down the road they add another source but I think its too early to really know that.
