Alt-tabbing in/out of the game has become a total pain after Update 49

It now takes 2-3 extra bussiness days to get into the game when alt-tabbing (I get this weird white & black screen for a couple seconds).
To make things worse sometimes the game refuses to open and all I hear is the background noise, I have to kill the process and restart it all the way.
