U49 [PC-NA] [UI bug]

Not sure if this is related to the same UI layout bug, but when I am in the antiquities dig site screen, the little bar that shows the amount of intuition(?) that is usually to the left of the dig site area now appears overtop of the dig site area. It makes it difficult to see how deep I am digging in spots right underneath where it is now placed. I am PC/NA. I opened ticket 260323-001857 (edit: spelling)

yes, it can also happen on the map, the controls have different x, y coordinates on screen when the bug happens and it can happen everywhere in the UI.
To avoid the bug you need stay on screen during the 1st loading screen or ReloadUI (avoid going to dektop or browse the internet).

Also been having this issue with the chat box, or search boxes, randomly. It often triggers when I open inventory, and the chat box bugs out. /reloadui always fixes it. Using Combat Metrics and TTMP (a map pin add-on) plus the associated libraries, I haven't updated them.

Recently while completing Master Writs I noticed the quest turn in NPC's UI was always bugged, being oversized past the bottom of the screen. Other windows, like the shop would have its search box misplaced. It would fix each time with a UI reload, and not trigger on the other screens until I talked to the NPC.

I turned off add-ons and still got the error. I always tab out during the long loadscreen from my crafting house to outside the Inn in Mournhold, so it occurred to me as well that might be the issue. So I didn't tab out the next time and got no error. But then I repeated the test, tabbing out again, and got no error.

Another piece of the puzzle, I was only turning in 1 Writ for the final couple times. I think if I try again with 5 or 6 writs, I'll get the error again, as the extra quest complete options is the trigger that breaks the scale and the UI.

Edit:
I couldn't reproduce the error today. Add-ons, no add-ons, tab out, not tabbing out. I don't know, maybe server load also plays a part?

I don't think so, it's still happening, this bug where x y position of controls are not the intended ones resulting in things wrongly placed or sized in the UI happens when tabbing out or using the windows key during a loading screen, also there is another bug where clicking on ESO on the taskbar to go back to the game sometimes does nothing and you have to kill the game process & start the game again.

This kind of bug has happened before after a publish. It is as if they are changing how they are swapping the frame buffer when alt-tabbing. All of khajiit's background windows go to the upper left corner of the screen, and get resized to be quite small.

And, whenever khajiit quits from the game, he gets the ole' "did not shut down properly" error box on top of the launcher.

Small observation from my side:

Open settings gameplay (normal)
Open Settings addons
Open settings gameplay (bugged)
Open Settings addons
Open settings gameplay (bugged)
Open Settings [any other menu]
Open settings gameplay (normal)

Issue to me for this use case seems to be accessing the addons menu, but it quickly fixes it self by navigating or reloading UI.
Tried disable all addons except one that does not do any UI changes.

PC EU.

Reloadui is faster, all you need to fix the bug is to avoid tabbing out during the loading screen.

Khajiit has found another way to address it, albeit is sub-optimal. If you use windowed (fullscreen) then it will not occur.

...although it also modifies the placement and size of khajiit's background windows/other applications windows. What khajiit's non-ESO windows are doing and where they are doing it is none of ZOS/ESO's business, and they should mind their manners.

This needs to be addressed poste haste - this is most rude.
