Standing in West Weald, waiting in queue for Cyrodiil. Crashing. Repeatedly. Planning on fixing this or are we just [snip]?

Don't tell me about submitting tickets, I've tried for years. I always get told that it's because I'm using a VPN when I'm not.

    For a few years the only time I would crash was if there was a mass crash event. Last month or so I've been crashing kind of regular. When it happens it is always within a few seconds after I've taken a Wayshrine and am on my mount.
    and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

    I haven't had issues with crashing, but I also set bandwidth limits for other devices on the router and recently started using port triggering which seems to have made the connection even better.

    I don't remember the last time I crashed. It practically never happens to me.
    So, maybe the problem is not on ZOS's side, but your internet provider's? Or your windows installation?
    I often hear on my guild's discord that the game crashes after some Windows Update has been rolled out.

    The rule of thumb is like this:
    High latency=> Provider
    Lag/Stutter/Rubberbanding=>ZOS
    Crash=>Windows drivers or Graphic Card drivers

    My game on XBX (EU) has a crash problem when I fast travel between my player homes. 50/50 whether or not it'll do it or not these days.

    I'm happy for you but rest assured I have gone through all of the options and it's not on my or my service provider's end. I wouldn't have put this post out there if I wasn't at my wits end after years and years of the same experience.

    I had one ridiculous crash a few days ago, basically I was doing the current event in the open, and then, crash. Wait, a crash?

    So I tend to think, and we have proof from before when it was worse for everyone, that the game is not much optimized, and me it's one crash here and there, the OP it's plenty of them, and I believe him, and I don't think it's due to his settings.

    Unfortunately, the fix is probably to check the entire game, and I heard they are doing that, if I am not mistaken. Hopefully a fix will come then.

    Logged out earlier to go get food. Came back. I havent been able to stay in game more than 4 minutes since. No notice. Nothing logged. Not even windows event viewer catches the crash. At least a dozen crashes in the last hour.
