I want to get both toughness and damage in the summoner style DPS.

<PVE situation>

I'm training summoner style DPS now. But in summoning time I got damage and dead.
(It need bit redundancy animation time for summoning skill.

)

Is there any effective suggestion with light equipment building?

its generally very difficult to have "toughness" without at least medium or heavy armor

also typically if your playing an oakensorc, you should have your pets up before fighting (if you die and get rezzed its a different story, but the cast time is more of a pvp balance issue than pve)

its a little difficult to try to improve your situation if you dont list out what your current situation is, aside from it sounding like your using light armor and unhappy with the pet summon cast times

High elf has a passive that reduces damage taken whilst channeling and templar has a passive that makes you block when you channel every so often. I suspect if any class is going to get reduced damage taken whilst channeling, it’d be plar though (jabs and beam are so integral to the class).

Argonian necro + Unleashed Ritualist Set + Null Arca Set + Maw of the Infernal (heavy) + necro pet + sorc pet + warden pet + CP2400
+ sorc damage shield + ice staff damage shied = current my build

Keep spamming ice staff and shield make me very tanky even with light armor,
but there is no chance to cast my pets with nimble speed.

i dont think its likely they will remove the cast time from pets, unless they add some caveat to be "outside of combat only"
