CC breaking petrify feels broken after u49

Like extremely delayed compared to every other CC in the game. Even charm. There was nothing in the patch notes about it so im guessing its a bug. And i hope so, because lowering the skill ceiling like this on purpose would be awful. And it doesnt help that whip hits through roll dodge and hits as hard as spectral bow. So basically, on occasion, im getting 1 shot by a corrosive whip because i cant CC break petrify fast enough. Even with slippery on its like the same, honestly feels worse.

As someone who cc breaks extremely fast it just feels terrible. And ive tested this with someone else and it was the same.

At first I thought it was lack of muscle memory with break9ng free from the new fossilize because I was so used to the old fossilize but its not that.

There is definitely something up with it.

Ya deff not. Thats why i even tried slippery. It honestly felt even slower than when i was doing it myself. These are very small differences, like a second, but it makes all the difference in the world when it comes to pvp/end game. When you've played for a long time you know how the flow of combat feels. You know how it feels to cc break quickly and dodge a spec bow or whatever. That just feels gone with petrify.

@ZOS_Kevin idk who i should tag for things like this but something is deff off with the new petrify.

In absolutely empty server, it takes at the bare minimum 1 full second to break free. Sometimes more. Yesterday at prime time i had to spam break free 3 seconds long (and i am not exaggerating) until it finally registered. Luckily i was on my 70k hp PvP Tank, and was at full hp, and only attacked by 1 DK that was not a good player. Barely survived that occasion wih 6k hp in the end.

On another note, as old as ESO history goes but not to mention when someone initiates a leap on you it still paralyses you until the hit is done even if you dont get cc'ed from it. Depending on the how busy your area is it can take longer the whole action.

But nice to experience that DK got a full refresh and got another broken CC ability in its toolkit. Now it is not only Leap but also Petrify. Good for DK players i guess, 80% of PvP currently...

Couldn't agree more. It's like the skills is sticky, but not in a sticky dot kinda way. It's like you are glued there for an entire second before your toon can even react no matter what you do. This can't possibly be intentional... can it?
