I played around with 2 of these beds today and came up with something that looks a lot better. I sunk the bed partly into the floor and put some sideways tables on the sides to cover the cloth hanging down. Then I put some pillows. I will try to find tables that fit more flush but these will do in the meantime.

That certainly looks much more like a bed! It reminds me of a waterbed. Now we know what the Maomer sleep on! 😴 🌊

Now I just need a nice comforter or duvet to lay across it. I have an idea I will check out tomorrow.

I found a better table for the side frames and some warm fluffy furs to cover up with. Then I borrowed my friend's idea and attached a headboard. Now it looks like a bed.
