Unable to dismiss forum Maintenance Announcements

There is usually an X at the upper right corner of the Maintenance Announcements on the Forums to dismiss them, but today that X is not there. It is frustrating to have to see this announcement over and over every time I open the forums. Please fix this so we can dismiss the Maintenance Announcements again.
