Sadly with the devs confirming that we're still going to be midget werewolves, this won't really work.
It WOULD be cool if we were an actual fun and immersive size for a vicious half-wolf beast though.
It would at least be cool if you could press H while transformed to have a "mount mode" that works the same as mounting with a speed boost, no skill use, and getting "dismounted" by damage. (And maybe a werewolf timer slowdown while moving.)
I don't think the devs actually like WWs, the visual update is a half hearted attempt that a good artist could throw together in half an hour, it's small and skinny. Werewolves are very hard to keep up in Cyrodiil because they lose form so fast, they run so slowly compared to mounts and there is very little to feed on. There is another thread about the visuals active right now, I do like the idea above that pressing H would give a mount speed boost to the werewolf, it could be disabled if holding a scroll. But we all know they aren't going to bother with any of this, it is what it is and if the visuals remain as they are then i may not bother any more.

I don't think the size is that bad. I don't think werewolves should necessarily be giant and it looks like they might be slightly taller even hunched compared to the previous model. the werewolf in skyrim looked kinda big to me.
I hope werewolf becomes way less annoying to use. most people who play werewolf i think want it to be more like a class then an ultimate and they should lean into that. I doubt they will ever ride mounts, though. I really don't want to see people riding them either lol. that would be funny but absurd.
