Undiscovered Wayshrines and other markers not appearing on map

I was playing a few days ago when I noticed that I had no markers for undiscovered wayshrines that previously appeared as the darker markers on the map, but my discovered ones are still showing.
Naturally, I assumed user error and checked my filters to no luck.
After, I assumed an addon was causing the issue, but after disabling all addons, I was met with the same issue.
I restarted the game and thought maybe the issue was my character, so I checked my other characters. None of them had any dark markers on the map despite having all addons turned off.
I started a new character to see if maybe a fresh start would help and again, there was nothing despite this character not having any addons attached to it.
I have since cleared my cache via Steam, and completely reinstalled the game and I still do not have wayshrines.
None of my guilds have any idea of how to fix this issue at this point either.
I am playing on NA PC and the game is owned on Steam.

LootAllTheStuff✭✭✭✭✭Not sure when the current UI is supposed to show the undiscovered items, but you can now select one specific type in the zone explorer rather than having to work through each category in order. So if you just want wayshrines (or skyshards) you can select that category then hit "Explore" and it will drop a way marker for you.0 -
Maddjuju✭✭✭Seeing undiscovered markers is what addons like Map Pins does. Looks like you're seeing the vanilla, no addon version of the map to not see undiscovered locations any more. Did you happen to check if addons were updated?0
