What gear are you hiding?

So far I have hidden Helm, Shoulders, Hands and Waist on all of my characters. I haven't experimented with much else yet. What gear are you hiding?

Thanks for reminding about this. I totally forgot that this was a part of the update. Will probably hide some belts and hands here and there. Nothing major.

Now, if they added an option to hide flaps and hip plates, that would be the first thing I'd do upon login.

I really only want to hide the hip flaps, so nothing for me (aside from hiding the helm and shoulders from pre-U49). My Bastian is finally showing off his tattoos though.

I wanted to hide feet on one of my Khajiits but I don’t like the way their claws look.

Other than shoulders the waist is the main one for me. Picking one usually comes down to finding the smallest, one that blends in or ideally one that clips into the chedt piece, so just being able to remove it entirely will be nice.

On a few characters I'm going to hide their gloves too. Other than that I'm not sure, but it's nice to have the option.

I'm probably the only one not happy with this new feature. I have a naked tank, no gear, not even staff/s&b. It works up to vet DLC dungeons and normal DLC trials if it's a bad tank (me) but probably has potential for more if a good player plays it. But now when anyone can appear naked, it's not as cool.

With the account wide outfits, my elf happily has gone from about 5 to 10 outfit slots. She's always hidden helm. Depends on the outfit for other others but sometimes shoulders, waist, hands. She is looking for a tunic that is long enough so she can hide her pants but can't find one she likes. She does have a 'naked' outfit that she uses for playing in the water.

Next logical request: The ability to dye underwear! Seriously.

On some of my characters including my main I'm hiding nothing, not even the head (but I do use the hide head ''hat'' in the Collections most of the time). But for many other of my characters as well as Companions' outfits I'm hiding hands and/or waist, sometimes shoulders.

My Azandar for example wears the light Sapiarch robe, so I was finally able to take the prisoner shackles off him so the Sapiarch sleeves can flare freely. Speaking of which, we need more motifs with flared sleeves like Sapiarch

I also hid the hands on my Mirri's Hlaalu robe and Zerith's Anequina robe since I like the leather bracer look they each have.

Happy the devs added this

Have an outfit for my main with hidden helm, waist and feet; undecided if to hide chest too. She has the First Seed chest (I think it's called), the one with flowers - the cloth isn't great but the flowers+potion are pretty and should pair nicely with the new Tome Personality which has that nice emote for drinking. (But I bought Soulrazer Poly and am always using that)

Speaking of naked players... Wonder if it's possible to cosplay "Letmesoloher" XD

I always hide help and I recently started hiding shoulders on my main outfit. I can't really see hiding anything else.

Not only Dyeable, but also give us different options for styles. The Victoria's Secret/Calvin Klein undergarments we have now bother me lol. I'd prefer a simple band around the chest for woman and something more akin to a loincloth than what's basically a bikini bottom/boxer briefs. Since we can Hide Legs/Chest now it would be a nice little extra layer of customization to have undergarments be different styles and colors.

But when ever this topic comes up, it reminds me of the underwear that archeologists found in Austria (or more precisely Lengberg Castle in Tyrol), from the Late Middle Ages / 15th century (probably between 1440 and 1485).
Several bras that looked like this:

The main reasons I hide belt is because the belts are actually only belt buckles and not full belts at all. And gear already comes with full belts on them, and the belt buckle doesn't always hide the built in belt and just looks bad.

I already often used Helm/Shoulders so that's old news. Unless I'm going into battle in which case I may wear a helm.

Definitely belts for the most part, half the time I was pickign belts that clipped into the top so I couldn't see them anyway. They rarely fit unless you pick a belt that already goes with the armor weight and style, so I'm not too fond of them.

Depending on the top and feet I may use Hide Legs. But I wouldn't want to run around pantless unless it otherwise looks like an outfit.

I may use hide gloves and chest here and there depending on the setting and who the character is.

Yes, you're right. To avoid a scandal by inappropriate underwear, I suggest underwear should be removed altogether

Those would look fine. What I dislike about ESO underwear is not so much the shape but the lack of a cloth-like texture; they look nothing more than just a bit of painted skin. This to me falls into the same category as aging outfit textures that need to be updated to include just a bit more detail.

Depends on the character and the outfit. Some has nothing hidden, others shoulders, many I have head piece for it and will toggle the on or off depending on what I want at the moment and what I'm doing.

I will though update some outfits to hide belt buckles, not all because they had a major look in some, but in many. Likewise will one of my bosmer finally be able to be barefoot. Those grippers are gonna be wild and free!

What I want most is to hide flaps, also shin guards from some kilt/skirt styles, and similar things, which we are not getting

Unfortunately the flaps hanging down in the front and back and the huge bulky flaps over the hips are built into the chest pieces and are not pieces that can be hidden separately.

Knowing how much many of us hate these, it would be nice if there were 2 versions of these chests... one with flaps and one without.

I've said many times, anything that hangs from the waist area should be placed on belts, not chests. Big conversion but I'd like to think the game is worth it. Alternatively, at least stop putting flappers (hip, crotch, butt) on light armor!

I use that chest style on my Warden but I wish I could hide the flowers. They don’t seem to be dyeable, they are always bright pink.

I usually just hide the helmet, unless I want to show off the ugly opalescent Engine Guardian helm that I love so much.
