No worries! Just covering our bases with platform info since today's launch was on all platforms.
We got some additional context on this. We made some back-end changes that resulted in this ability receiving max strength of the rank up progression at all ranks. What that means is this ability currently doesn't have the intended effective rank up progression. We'll look into adding some in the future, which will result in a very gentle buff for this ability (which was already buffed up with Update 49.)3 -

In my Skills menu on my DK I have Searing Claw IV, but it shows a lock icon. If I respec skills I can unmorph it, which changes it to Searing Strike IV which is a mag skill. If I unmorph, to Searing Strike, I don't get an option to morph the skill.

Edited: it seems there are two issues with morphing skills. Does Gina’s workaround work for Searing Strike?

Read through the thread and that is the same bug Im seeing. Not in game right now, but I *think* the skill was fully leveled. I've always backed out without saving since I'm not yet willing to risk getting stuck.
