There is a quest early in the main questline, but after the tutorial, called The Harborage (which starts in the Harborage, not Coldharbour, and involves a kind of vision). The Prophet narrates some scenes of the Companions. He does a bunch of talking, they do a bunch of talking, you do some talking, you get the quest rewards. It’s still drawn out even if you skip through your dialogue quickly, since you can’t speed up or skip the Prophet’s narration or the Companions scenes.

I typically use it to make a cup of coffee or tea.

I mean, I think that's one of the few story bits you can't skip through with that quest. I get that's annoying and one should be able to skip it if one wants. But like, I have a lot of alts and hardly remembered that gap existed lol.

I'd personally just skip starting it until later. I don't think the Main Quest is 100% vital to doing other stuff, except the main quest.

Now that I’m thinking about it, I seem to recall a dialogue option telling him you don’t want to hear it…

Let me see what it’s currently like.

ETA: Ah, it was probably a later quest I was thinking of where you can decline further explanations.
