Sync across different PCs?

Hello,

I have my gaming PC at home that I mainly game on, and I carry a gaming laptop with me for the occasional slow evening at work. My frustration stems from the fact that addons don't sync across PCs, and there doesn't seem to be any info about this issue.

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

I was thinking of possibly using git and performing a push when getting off the PC at home and a pull when getting on the PC at work. Would this work? Do addons keep everything in the ~\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns folder? Any other folders that might need to be included for this?

I used Minion's backup option on my PC, copied that file to my laptop and then used the Minion restore option.

Actually a good idea that I'm wondering why I didn't consider. Is this something you do each time, or you just run two addon setups, one independent of the other but virtually identical since they are built off each other?

After I got it set up, I have Minion set to auto update, so when I use the laptop, it gets updated. If I add a new addon, I add it on both.

Addons keep everything in the ~/Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live folder (in particular, the subfolders Addons/, SavedVariables/, and the file AddonSettings.txt) so you can usually just copy the entire live folder between pcs to copy all addons and settings.

The addon subfolder contains your actual addon files (what minion downloads), SavedVariables contains your settings for your addons (like what you configure in game), and AddonSettings.txt contains the list of what addons are enabled on what charecters
