But it's a non-issue because there are other tasks you can do, so what does it matter if someone can't complete one? You only need twenty and there are twenty-seven to pick from.nightbringer1993 wrote: »
It's not a unique reward, tho, it's just an exp scroll. If it were a Collectible like a Pet or Body Markings, that would be a unique thing and would be an actual problem. And iirc they have done that before, tied a reward to something like a trial? I THINK they've done it before where a reward was tied to something like PvP or other specific activities rather than just generic PvE tasks (and I don't mean the Pursuits they do for MYM either heh).valenwood_vegan wrote: »I think the real issue is there's a unique reward tied to "Earn 10 Ranks in a Skill LIne" and some players who have been around long enough may be completely locked out of getting it. They need to be careful about doing this.
Or maybe they should also tie a unique reward to a vet task like complete a trial, or complete a vet hm dungeon... but of course that would immediately lead to complaints - why is it ok when done the other way around?

Aaaaah I see. Personally I don't think it's *too* big a deal since it is just an exp scroll, and if someone has been playing long enough that all their characters have all their Skill Lines maxed and have all the characters unlocked they can get...they proooooobably don't need a single exp scroll.valenwood_vegan wrote: »But it's a non-issue because there are other tasks you can do, so what does it matter if someone can't complete one? I mean unique in the sense that it is specific to that task. Sorry for any confusion.

Any Skill Line, yeah. And I doubt there are many people who have unlocked and fully leveled EVERY Skill Line on ALL of their characters. That would be:PeacefulAnarchy wrote: »Skill line doesn't have to be class line right? I've maxed those but I probably have a weapon line somewhere that isn't leveled
nightbringer1993 wrote: »ZOS did you think of those players who already ranked all skill lines and have reach the limit of how many chars they can have.
The rank skill lines golden pursuit goal is therefore impossible to do for these people.
Will you do something about it for those who leveled all skill lines?

All Class Skill Lines
All Weapon Skill Lines
All Armor Skill Lines
All World Skill Lines
All Guild Skill Lines
All Crafting Skill Lines
All PvP Skill Lines
That is a LOT to unlock on one character, let alone numerous. Especially because no one character is going to need to have every single Skill Line unlocked; if your character is a Mag based one for example, you wouldn't gain anything from leveling everything like 1H, 2H, or S&B Skill Lines.

Good point. Won't be scrying and playing WW on all characters.Enemoriana wrote: »frogthroat wrote: »Levelling up everything is preparing for the future. That is why I have been levelling up everything.
Including legerdemain, scrying, ww and vampire on all characters?
