Can't launder pickpocketed Guild Citations from Mara boxes

Title pretty much says it all. On PC NA.
If you pickpocket a mara box from the event, and it has a citation, you can't launder it. This feels like a bug, as characters with maxed guild lines are essentially punished.

Displaced_Salad✭✭✭Stuck with a Dark Brotherhood citation from pickpocketing that cannot be sold or laundered at a fence. Therefore it cannot be stored for another character to use, and you can store all citations NOT marked stolen. Which should be classified as a bug as it seems antithetical to extant behavior.
ETA - time is ticking on the event as well. Also cannot launder companion gifts, and since got caught by guards and couldn't launder any of these items, lost all of them.
This feels like an oversight, why wouldn't we be able to launder these companion gifts and citations?
Seen people mention this has been around since other events for other items, could we get this fixed please?
Lost maybe a 200k or so due to losing all these citations, that I couldn't even place into the bank since they were marked stolen.3 -

ZortiizSoul ShrivenI put in a ticket about this this morning. The citations and event boxes are now taking up space because I don't need them on that character. And I'm be extra careful so I don't lose them. Should be an interesting thieving tonight during our Guild run.
Overall, it would be helpful to know whether this is, in fact, a bug so we can make a decision about our inventory.~Z

Same issue here as well, probably everyone who did alot of stealing during the event are wondering what to do with said items. Would be nice to know sooner than later.0 -

TheOubliette✭✭✭@ZOS_Kevin Can we get some sort of attention to this situation, when it's convenient? I'm sure there's a lot of players who have un-launderable items from the recent Mara/Heart's Week event, due to boxes stolen from pickpocketing at that time.
The following CAN NOT be laundered in the normal way:
Companion Gifts
Guild Commendations
The Mara's Parcels (in general)
The following COULD be laundered:
Sundry and various furnishing plans, recipes, and crafting components
Impresario Group Repair Kits
Making it so that we can launder these eventually, would be appreciated, and perhaps let the community know that it's on yoru radar. Thanks very much.0 -

Every time we go to do a little pickpocketing, we are running the risk of losing it if caught or killed by a guard. I would like to think that it was not intended for us not be able to launder, but if it was, knowing that would be helpful.~Z

It would, indeed, be nice to know, wouldn't it? And if it's intended behavior, aside from the entire "making it clear how the mechanics work for players" thing, it discourages further engagement in future events that encourage or require pickpocketing. My guess is they're busy with all the PR for battle passes and game changes. Which, on the one hand I can understand, but we're squarely back in the standard territory of, "Old stuff doesn't work, let's just add some new stuff and hope it distracts people." Why put out an event to try out a mechanics change if you're not going to monitor it? Why have forums or feedback or a ticket system at all? It's a very interesting strategy when we've been told, yet again, communication and bug removal was going to be a priority. @Tyralbin really? I still have all mine.... it seems you can sell them but not launder them... kind of defeating the whole purpose to use them on different toons
@nightstrike even being able to deposit would be a nice temporary fix, that way im not walking on eggshells with all of this LOOT

I just checked, and my stolen citations are still in my inventories.
Any chance you may have been a bit trigger happy with Pirharri the Smuggler when the last update removed her hefty cut of gold?

Still holding on to an item gained by doing EXACTLY WHAT WAS ASKED AND EXPECTED during an event. Agreed. With Jester Fest going on and the Anniversary Event right after that. I'm not sure we'll get a reply anytime soon. If ever... I still have all of my stolen items but for how much longer. Who knows0
