Argonian Race need a urgent revamp of passive skills

That's it. The excuse of "good for sustain or tanking" is a huge misleading.

The race is WEAK, extremely unfair to build beyond the mild-healing or low use for tank.

Argonians should be given a good POISON damage as passive as well as the usual poison resistance, should be DPS relevant not "healing". They are basically dinosaurs, for heck sake!

As UESP declare: "[Argonians] are well-versed in the magical arts, stealth, and the use of blades. They are also guerilla warfare experts, long accustomed to defending their borders from invaders." Argonians should be DPS, not low energy sustain turtles.

Statistically Argonias should be like the Khajitts and one of the most beloved Betmeri races to players. But in fact they are one the least chosen of all races by ESO gamers. And this is a shame.

ZOS working on class improvements? It should give a chance to better races too.

    Yep Argonians have always had heavy ''rogue'' type affinities and skill bonuses in the TES games, with a magic lean. I think the Skyrim Histskin ability and Restoration bonus is the first time in the series that Argonians had this later-to-be ESO style of racial bonus characterization. And I would bet money that the Skyrim passive is the only reason ESO Argonian racials are as they are, because Skyrim. :|

    The whole racial system should get a revamp, maybe having morphs for each passive in a way you can build towards what you want to specialize, or have more passives for all roles and limit the ones we can pick like the new pure class system.

    For Argonians in specific, it's actually awful how they're supposed to be good at healing but get overperformed by the best DPS races like Dunmer/Altmer, simply because 6% healing done isn't stronger than 258 W/S Damage, heck, even Nords make better healers than Argonians due to their ult gen passive.

    For DPS though they are definitely one of the worst races, I do really hate how there are "meta" races for each role, races should just add flavour to the gameplay, not have role enforcing passives. I don't want every of my DPS to be a Dunmer/Altmer, and I don't want every of my tanks to be Nords, this system has been gone untouched for way too long.

    Argonians has suffered a lot in racials over the years in ESO. At times going against lore, and just being very meh bonuses.

    On second place we got bosmer, who also have had some weird racials over the years. Like when they gave them the utterly useless Increase to Stealth Detection radius, which most of the time didn't even work and made their own stealth worse. At least that one now has some extra bits to it, but I will be forever salty and annoyed that khajiit and bosmer should have some of their racial switched. Bosmer are stealthy and thievey, more so than khajiit, who in comparison are the one with good eyesight, including in the dark, and acrobatic.

    Also recall during a time when bosmer had poison resist while argonians didn't :|

    Historically Argonians were always the best at using spears, but since we don't have a spear weapon type, Alchemy is the only thing we really have to work with here. I do think the potion passive deserves a second line that buffs alchemical poisons because it's a bit upsetting poisons aren't relevant outside of some niche applications in PvP. Especially with those new skill scrolls coming up that share a cooldown with potions, it's kind of a nerf to Argonians if you think about it.

    That said, I am at least happy Argonians are actually good for healing now ever since ZOS raised the base stats on all characters. Before that Altmer had a greater bonus to healing and damage than Argonians even though Argonians get their bonus only towards healing.
    This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

    I play Argonian frequently in PvP and I dunno... their racial passives right now seem to be rather nice. They used to be stronger and so yeah, I'd love to see a buff to what we already have. There are a couple races that already be eatin' good.

    They could use a damage bonus to be more rounded out, and lacking any is a big limitation.

    And their resource passive should be changed to scale with something, like Major Intellect/Major Endurance like the other races (with recovery bonuses) benefit from, or maybe Heavy Armor bonuses.

    Other than that, they're a great choice for PvP and the resource recovery is uniquely helpful for tanks, albeit not enough to be optimized in most settings.

    Racial bonuses in general probably need redone

    Weapon/spell damage is far too valuable for DPS + nords ult gen is dominant for supports and are probably the real things that need toned down to "balance" things

    But argonian, wood elf and the bottom of the barrel red guards definitely could use some love
