Merciless Resolve annoying sound...

Is there any way to disable the uneeded and extremely annoying sound of the Merciless Resolve skill when it's ready? It's absolutely useless, since it's already visualy sinalized in the bar, and it's a horrible sound effect constatly appering for nothing. It's driving me crazy. I'd really like to use it in my build, but it's so irritating that I'm ending up not using it. Unfortunately the only solution I found mutes all skill effects, and I'd like to disable only this one. I already tested to play with all sound effects muted and I can confirm that the sound effect for Merciless Resolve is really useless. It's just more noise for an already very noisy game.

If you bought the Malacath’s Fury skill style for it, it tones down the sound of Spec Bow drastically.
Dragon Priest [Restoring Light, Draconic Power, Grave Lord]
Death Knight [Grave Lord, Winter’s Embrace, Siphoning]
Pyromancer [Ardent Flame, Dawn’s Wrath, Earthen Heart]
Summoner [Living Death, Grave Lord, Daedric Summoning]
Ranger [Animal Companions, Green Balance, Shadow]
Druid [Earthen Heart, Animal Companions, Stormcalling]
Elementalist [Stormcalling, Winter’s Embrace, Ardent Flame]
Dawnguard [Dawn’s Wrath, Restoring Light, Ardent Flame]

I'm going to try it. (I thought it was the same)

The Merciless Resolve also destroys my character look with that horredous red glowing in my staff. I really can't understand why it have 3 signs: the annoying sound effect, the useful glowing in the bar, and the pathetic red glowing in the staff. Terrible, just terrible design.

I didn't find the Malacath’s Fury. The alternative I have is Relentless Focus, wich I just tried and it's also terrible. :'(

Does Relentless Focus have the same sound? I’m asking because I am hearing impaired and I have not noticed any sound other than when pressing the button to first activate it.

Nothing better than hearing it going off in PvP and you know you've either dodged or blocked it 😄

I found the Malacath’s Fury in store. It's the same thing, the same horrible noise but way more bugged: with Relentless Focus and Merciless Resolve without Malacath’s Fury, the sound effects only change the interface sound sometimes, but with Malacath’s Fury the horrible sound effect permanently changed the interface sound and I get that hideous noise even when using the inventory.

I really can't stand it anymore, and I can't find an alternative similar solution to replace it in my DD, so I think I'm going to try subclasses and completely avoid the nightblade skills. That thing never shuts up, and with Malacath’s Fury I'm also forced to have that sound on everywhere after combat.

Oh... btw! And Malacath’s Fury changes the color of the skill effect, but my staff is still red with that hateful glowing. That's really bad!

That’s weird, on Xbox NA Malacath’s Fury mutes the sound of firing the “bow”. One of us must have a bug. 😂

It's not that sound that bothers me. It's the annoying sound it makes when the skill is charged. It's horrible and when I'm out of combat the insane sound replaces the interface sound effects. Probably it is a problem on my account, I already thought about it, but I already reinstalled the game once and it didn't change.

I can't speak for others, but I actually rely on that sound so I know it's up. I may be the outlier here, but knowing when something is up and ready is helpful to my game play. Please be mindful that not everyone plays the same way you do, and that there may be others like myself who rely on the sound rather than sight.

I have some visual difficulties, so the sound is a good cue for me. It's the same with the ultimate sound, and why I use a certain addon that plays a sound when my skills are about to expire.

I'm talking about this annoying sound. Not only we are spammed with it in combat but also out of combat it remains as a replacement for all interface sounds. It's exhausting.

Out of curiosity, do you have any addons installed?

I can't say I've ever heard that sound before, but I do know some addons will add sounds in to signify things are procced (like if crystal frags is ready or if your spec bow is up)

It's a very useful skill—I'm not able to see a yellow glow on my skill bar with a lot happening in combat, and we should be looking at the battle, not our skills, with how fast-paced ESO is. It may not be your preference, but I wish they would add this to reaching 3 Crux (without using an addon).

It should be optional because I only need the glowing in the bar, and I get the noise to distract me and give me headaches and also a glowing in the staff for nothing. We should be able to choose only the one we prefer and not be overloaded with warnings everywhere for the same thing. As I said before, it's terrible game design.

Please, no! I'm already abandoning the nightblade because of this, I hope they don't make the arcanist noisier than it already is. I also don't like the visual aesthetics of arcanist, but at least there's no noise for the 3 crux. Now that you mentioned it, I've even come to like arcanist more and appreciate it as it is.

What this game needs is to be more refined, reducing the excessive sound and visual noise. In the case of Relentless Focus, I'm even surprised, because I like everything about the starting classes, except for that noise in the Nightblade skill and the Sorcerer's pets (but I don't use those). Because in general, I even find the effects of Necro, Warden, and Arcanist much worse than those of the original classes.
