There are different tiers to PS Plus, at different monthly pricing: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Which tiers is this March deal applicable to ? It was not stated cleary in the article.

Changes to PSN policy aside, free with PS Plus means free as long as you have an active subscription (“sub”), and until its fully removed from their shopfront.

If you stop any PS Plus sub, all previously PS Plus claimed games are locked, but can be unlocked again once a sub is active.

The wording “…. own it forever, for free” on the article shows a gap in understanding in how PSN Plus claimed games work.

But dont take my word for it (even with my 7 years of PS Plus sub on & off) - whoever worked on the article and PSN deal, please check with your official Playstation representative and ask them directly for clarification, especially if they did not disclose this to the team at ZOS.

Monthly Games are part of all Playstation Plus tiers.

You need PS Plus to play ESO so "own it forever" is good enough as you will not be able to use it without Plus.
Until ESO becomes free to play like Destiny 2, we will forever need PS Plus to play the game.

I really like the new direction expecially after awful and IMO probably the worst year (2025) in ESO history.

Somebody from ZOS should post on r/elderscrollsonline about Seals like @ZOS_Kevin recently did for ESO+ to clear misunderstandings.
So many redditors are spreading fake news and losing their minds how seals are going away since announcement.

Meanwhile, redditors also constantly attack ZOS for promoting FOMO*, and now when things finally move in the great direction, they cry how there will be no more daily endeavours

I mean how you even play complex game like ESO if you lack basic reading comprehension?
English is not even my 1st foreign language, and yet, I understand clearly that Seals stay with just shortened name.
How playing game on your pace and tailoring tasks to your own preferences is bad

Some of them even admit they don't know how to play game without them as this is their only activity to randomly explore Tamriel.

*I personally don't have FOMO issues, and the greatest offenders are removed/ing from Crown Store in U49.

P. S.
Reminder that eso subreddit hive mind most of time supported bad gameplay changes like last year fake subclassing which they praised like no tomorrow. I could write a novel how they defended it. Only after colossal disaster it introduced which everybody knew is going to happen, they finally turned back on it.

Well, this announcement in subreddit was removed this morning (CET). It was full of fake news.

I want to get excited but all I can see is the Development team stating they deliberately focused on pushing groups for the one thing I WAS excited about.
When the daily rewards end, I probably won't log in. If I don't log in for the reward, I will not stay for the play because the endeavors are gone. If I do not start playing, I will not keep playing.
I likely will not stay long for the Golden pursuit because I noticed the group/guild challenges pay so much higher than the solo challenges. (the concept that EVERYTHING can be soloed is a lie; I don't bother with that argument) If players WANTED to group play, then having solo-level challenges at the same reward as group wouldn't be a problem because they would group anyway.
I am learning to dislike hate this game.
