    I won't repeat what others said as I agree with almost everything.
    Just my 2 cents.

    I had to check Trial Finder on PC EU in the evening in the last couple of weeks, and oh boy, it's much worse than summer or autumn when I stopped playing again.

    I actually played a lot normal + Craglorn veteran PUG trials, and I still need to finish collecting some gear sets.
    So, I guess, I'm basically the mid tier player.
    I tried few times veteran PUG non-Craglorn trials as a tank. Never again***.
    Also I was invited to be a healer in veteran trials in one big trading guild as I did great in normal ones, and I was even a substitute, but the inflexibility by trial "this or that combo gear or no run" leader... So it didn't happen.
    And so many veteran PUG trial leaders are out of touch.

    But, I still jump from time to time in normal PUG trials as tank or healer even if I collected sets.
    I like to have big give away after we finish if run was mostly ok for example if players listened after wipe :).

    ***Many veteran PUG trials on PC EU are not PUG at all.
    They are scheduled guild runs, but they lack players - "suprise", players didn't show up, so they try to fill gaps by posting in Group Finder. It's mostly they miss off tank or second healer.
    If you join groups like that you can bet that when big boss wipe happens they'll blame you as outsider no matter what.

    The cowardly Wood Elves are best noted for their unwillingness to engage in a face-to-face attack; a Bosmer will strike at you from every side except the front. You won't cross swords with a Bosmer, but you might catch an arrow in the throat. Be wary in forests and jungles, and watch your back.

    I left the game shortly after arcanist got added because all of the endgame raid groups that I was a part of wanted to run full arcanist comp for easy clears. Subclassing it seems has only made things significantly worse. There is no variety anymore only raw DPS output to nuke things as fast as possible.

    Vet trials and hard mode runs became all about skipping mechanics so the devs had to come up with other contrived ways to wipe the group or introduce silly mini games to the trial rotation. It took me exactly 1 run of VSE to make me realize that endgame trials was heading in a wacky direction that I no longer wanted to be a part of. But cleared it on my Templar and nightblade before that group also decided to follow the arcanist or bust method.

    Now that I am back after 2.5 years away I don’t really plan on jumping back into the endless wheel of meta builds and spending hours on a parse dummy to push my DPS another 2% higher.
