I thought the majority of content was going to be added to the base game, What does the Premium Edition give that won't be part of the base game in March?

Premium content pass and update 49 only have the Warden class in common.

    Premium content pass includes:
    - Solstice zone.
    - Fallen Banners dungeons.
    - Feast of Shadows dungeons.
    - Vvardenfell chapter.
    - Warden class.
    - Summerset chapter.
    - Elsweyr chapter.
    - Necromancer class.
    - Greymoor chapter.
    - Blackwood chapter.
    - High isle chapter.
    - Necrom chapter.
    - Arcanist class.
    - Gold Road chapter.

update 49 adds to the base game:
    - Dark Brotherhood dlc, Gold Coast zone.
    - Thieves Guild dlc, Hews Bane zone and Maw of Lorkhaj trial.
    - Orsinium dlc, High Wrothgar zone and Maelstrom Arena.
    - imperial City dlc, zone and its dungeons.
    - Warden class.

Greymoor does get added later in the year too, but no other chapters that the premium pass has.

Will there be a 2026 Content Pass or no? I'd hate to buy two of the discounted premium editions and then have to turn around and buy two 2026 content passes.

    no new dlc to purchase.
all new dlc content will be free in 2026 and beyond, like
    - zones
    - classes
    - story quests
    - trials
    - skill lines

Is there a reason why the base game is on sale on Steam but the Premium Edition is not?

Just noticed it's now on sale on Steam! Hurray!

I wanna get this to own Elsweyr, but Solstice is attached to it :(

Any idea when Elsweyr becomes part of the base game? It's the only older one I'm missing, but I really don't want to spend money on Solstice– I don't believe it meets my standards as a player. I don't want to misrepresent that fact to ZOS' data by purchasing it.

No plans for it are on thr road map right now. So the only ways to add it are:
    - buying it as part of the premium edition
    - subscribing via eso+
    - buying it via crown store
    - have it be gifted to you via the crown store.

    Is it worth it?

    Lets break it down..

    Features,Last Updated

    Cyrodiil Map Changes,"Oct 24, 2018 (Update 20)" updates discontinued

New Blacksmithing Ores,"Nov 2, 2015 (Orsinium)" haven't have new ores place in game since

Gear Cap (CP160),"Oct 5, 2016 (Update 12)" gear cap hasn't been raised or squished

CP System (3600 max; ~1855 optimal aka all you can place),2021 (CP 2.0 Rework; U45 tweaks only)

Core loops (PvP maps, crafting tiers, gear/CP progression) frozen for 7-10 years

Prioritizes cash shop over substance—feels like 40-50% at best

We've had gotten entire new areas continents or zones.
Yet, that's not carried into the war, which is a major part of the game.

No new ores, lumbers, or fabric here's that list and when:

    Type,Tiers,Introduced
    Ores (Blacksmithing),Low (Iron-Ebony),Base Game (Apr 2014)
    ,Mid-CP (Calcinium-Voidstone),Craglorn (May 2014)
    ,Rubedite,"Orsinium (Nov 2, 2015)"
    Lumber (Woodworking),Low (Maple-Yew),Base (2014)
    ,Mid-CP (Birch-Nightwood),Craglorn (2014)
    ,Ruby Ash,Orsinium (2015)
    Fabric Cloth (Clothing),Low (Jute-Ebonthread),Base (2014)
    ,Mid-CP (Kresh-Void),Craglorn (2014)
    ,Ancestor Silk,Orsinium (2015)
    Leather (Clothing),Low (Rawhide-Fell),Base (2014)
    ,Mid-CP (Topgrain-Shadow),Craglorn (2014)
    ,Rubedo,Orsinium (2015)
    Jewelry Ores/Ingots,All 7 tiers (Platinum Ore/Pewter → Ruby Diamond),Summerset (Jun 2018)

So we have this content pass.. What content? where's the content?

I just showed you what content we hadn't been getting using provided data of last materials updated content . Why aren't we getting this stuff?

I love this game, but subscribing and buying this so called expansions and DLC "content", where's the rest? Even discounted doesn't seem worth it.

IF i go to the store and buy a gallon of milk , I bring it home its its only half full i would call and ask well where the other half of the gallon of milk i purchased.

But some reason we're not buying all that content we're used to getting we're buying just this amount that we're getting now.

For ESO PLUS members there's this ..
Unlimited storage for crafting materials, ok where's my new materials?

10% increase to Alliance Points and Tel Var Stones earned ,
well that's kind of not important because updates were cancelled.

10% increase to Crafting Inspiration & Trait Research rates
nice, but wait a min.. of that we've gotten only new sets.

    | New Traits (All Jewelry: 9 total) | Jun 2018 (Summerset/Update 18)
    | Weapon/Armor Traits (9 each) | Base Game (2014)
    | New Crafted Sets (2-3/update) | Every Update (e.g., Update 48: Sep 2025)

so the content pass is 79.99 but its 19.99 on sale..
what are we buying just dungeons and new places? make it make sense.

    ESO+ 14.99

I get it there got to be monetization but what are we doing??
The math doesn't add up as to why we're paying for these things that we're not receiving updates on even at the discounted price.

I'm disappointed, each new zone should have new ores, new lumber, new cloth. CP either needs to be utilized or squished.

The money this game makes, is there, to be utilized.

So at this time Zenimax does still run the show of their game so this all could have been added in..

Yes—they could've easily added "Shard Ores" (blacksmithing), "Shard Lumber" (woodworking), "Shard Cloth/Leather" as new CP160+ nodes in West Weald/Skingrad, themed to Shardborn/creatia crystals—unique farming draw.
But didn't—no new mats in Update 44 patch notes/guides; focused Scribing/sets instead.

    We've had to new zones
    Zone,Release
    Western Solstice,Update 46 (Jun 2025)
    Eastern Solstice,Update 48 (Oct 2025)

10 new zones via DLC/Chapters/Expansions since jewelry crafting mats (post-Summerset, Jun 2018).

    #,Zone,DLC/Chapter
    1,Murkmire,Murkmire (2018)
    2,Northern Elsweyr,Elsweyr (2019)
    3,Western Skyrim,Greymoor (2020)
    4,The Reach,Markarth (2020)
    5,Blackwood,Blackwood (2021)
    6,High Isle,High Isle (2022)
    7,Telvanni Peninsula,Necrom (2023)
    8,West Weald,Gold Road (2024)
    9,Western Solstice,Seasons Pt1 (2025)
    10,Eastern Solstice,Seasons Pt2 (2025)

Yes—none of the 10 zones added new tiered refining mats (ores/lumber/cloth/leather/jewelry ingots).

    Crafting,Highest Tier,Since
    Ores,Rubedite,Orsinium (2015)
    Lumber,Ruby Ash,Orsinium (2015)
    Cloth,Ancestor Silk,Orsinium (2015)
    Leather,Rubedo,Orsinium (2015)
    Jewelry,Ruby Diamond,Summerset (2018)

Yes—they have hundreds of qualified devs (300-400 total staff) who add new resource nodes, styles, and zones every update—could do ores/lumber/cloth in days.

    :/

Is it worth it? Not if you ask me.

I'm not a fan of monetization over amount of content and quality of content.
I enjoy Zenimax as a company, they're friendly and TESO as what it was before we stopped getting these new mats that went along with these new zones. Yet, come on we need new ores, lumbers, and cloths with these expansions and DLC.

    Dear Community/Followers,

I want to address recent concerns regarding allegations of inappropriate direct messages and supposed cheating. First and foremost, I want to clarify that I do not admit to any wrongdoing. However, I understand that my actions may have been perceived in a way that caused concern.

As many of you know, I am a disabled veteran who served in Iraq, and I am permanently and totally mentally disabled. My PTSD, which was formally diagnosed in 2013 after being reclassified in the DSM-5, has affected me in ways that are difficult to fully explain. While this is not an excuse, it has, at times, clouded my judgment and impacted my behavior. This condition is something I have lived with for a long time, and it is a daily challenge.

As an influencer, streamer, and game reviewer with over 300 reviews, 800 followers on Twitch, and 1,600 followers on TikTok, I understand the responsibility that comes with my platform. Our role as influencers is to set a positive example, and I want to make it clear that I do not condone actions that go against the Terms of Service (TOS) or End User License Agreements (EULA) of any platform or community. Even though societal norms have evolved, and what was once deemed acceptable behavior in the past is no longer appropriate, I am committed to adapting and ensuring that my actions reflect the values we strive for today.

I want to go forward with a commitment to better representing the disabled members of our community. I recognize that I may never fully "fit in" or be "normal," but I am dedicated to improving and learning from these experiences. It is crucial that we have more flexibility and better support services for disabled veterans like myself, so we can remain active members of our communities without being unfairly limited by our disabilities. These services would help ensure that we can make better decisions and avoid situations like this in the future.

Thank you for your understanding, and I am grateful for the continued support of this community as I work to become a better version of myself.

    Sincerely,

Not quite sure where you're trying to get to with this oddly formatted wall of text, but saying that a content pass (non-premium) for less than 20 bucks isn't worth it because it doesn't add new base resources is strange.

We have to keep in mind that most players don't have Eso+, so they already struggle with inventory management. And you want to make that even worse? To what end would it benefit you to have just another material with a slightly different name that you have to collect from a slightly different node? We already get new style materials with each new release, so the total number already goes up. In my opinion, it would be beneficial to condense the available ones down more, like they did with the soul gems way back when. This wouldn't be dumbing the game down, unless you consider collecting ores a mental challenge.

Eso+ also adds quite a bit for those players who are into housing, something you don't mention at all. The Writhing Wall event may have been a letdown when it happenend, especially since you had to pay full price to be able to take part. But with a 75% discount the Solstice region is worth it. We're talking about almost the equivalent of just 1 month of Eso+ and for that you get content which you keep forever, subbed or not.
