From when does ESO+ start counting towards a premium pass upgrade?

I’ve been wanting to buy a month of ESO+ but it’d be more bang for buck if I buy it in such a way that it’ll count towards the upgrade. So, when can I buy ESO+?

Just wait until it releases. Even if the tome cache will count back to this month, subs get a 10% bonus on tome point earning which will surely be highest during anniversary jubilee. So most bang for your buck will be then. Getting craftbag for jubilee will also be helpful I'm sure.

iirc, they said that it would start counting from the same time, so regardless of if you have an existing sub or a new sub at that time, there is no problem with the timing of when you get ESO+. I don't remember if they said it starts incrementing in March with the patch or April with the season though.

IIRC, In the live stream, they said the ESO+ credit towards the premium game pass started that very day of the livestream. Anybody watching it and already an ESO+ subscriber was already getting credit for it.

According to the article, every month of subscription in 2026 counts towards the tokens starting in January.

I think this is now solidly answered haha, thank you all. I'll try to hold out in the name of tome points but if my inventory can't live until then I'll buy ESO+ FOMO-free!
