Inventory space & armoury

Hey there.

I mainly play 1 character, I have ESO+ & 6 armoury slot for different builds but I am struggling with inventory space which is capped at 215 slots which is mainly full of gear for those builds, I'd like to do more builds to go to the 10 armoury slots but inventory space is limiting me to do.

Things I'd like to see in the future to help alleviate this problem.

• armoury/ armoury assistant holds the gear
•increase inventory space as this has been the same for a long time & new things still keep coming out.
• equipment vault just like the furnishing vault that works with the armoury.

Does anyone else have this problem when mainly playing with 1 character & how do you deal with this?

    Your post reminded me of a ticket/suggestion that I gave the dev folks a looong time ago: armor stands! I think players could have a lot of fun displaying stored gear on dummies in their homes (though the dummies may look silly without outfits enabled on them, who knows...). More importantly, though, it gets the set pieces out of a character's backpack and would hopefully guarantee that when you switch to a build in the armory, you are *actually* getting all of the armor equipped that you think you are. More than once, the UI has told me that I successfully changed builds when in fact I forgot to grab the gear that I needed out of the bank and my character is in fact completely naked with only my constellations and skills having been swapped by the armory.

    I don't make video games and I realize the coding to make all of that happen is probably a lot harder than I described. But they had an armor stand in the game Oblivion - just for one suit of armor but still, more armor stands for player gear than ESO has - and the relevant expansion for that game probably came out 20 years ago. I'm sure players would shell out crowns for such a feature in ESO, if someone on their team figured out a way to implement it.

    I enjoy, but I find the current system a bit cumbersome. I've ended up only keeping my two most used builds in my bag, and the others in my bank due to space constraints. So, yes I agree; as said above (and in previous threads over time) I think it would be nice if development released something like;
    • An upgraded Armoury Station that has a self-contained armoury-chest, autmatically taking equipment from there (and placing it back in) when we change builds.
    • And/or Armoury Manequins, which hold a single build including equipment, you can interact with the mannequin to swap builds, putting on the build it has on display whilst storing the current build you had on your character.

    They're obvious improvements really I guess. I really like the Armoury system and am very thankful for it. I hope development do continue to refine it a little more to improve player experience when they have time.
    If you can be anything, be kind.

    They did this in dcuo, their armory system were on dummys, it worked pretty well you go back to your homebase & choose which dummy you wanted as they held the gear

    I agree, I am very thankful for it, it helps me a lot with all the builds I have but you're right it could need some work to make it more friendly to use, I don't really want to be putting stuff in & out the bank all the time like you do as it's time consuming but it is a good idea to do if you really have to in a pinch.
