Oh same but 2017 cake. Only one I'm missing due to an irl emergency and it's always bugged me. I was on the fence on if they'd add the cakes or not but given the slices are purchaseable with the copy of it and they could be easy to miss I'd be happier to see them obtainable personally.

Oh noted, I had been told by a friend a few years back that they were discontinued, but even if they weren't, it would be nice to have a way other than stream interactions to get them because I know a few people who really wanted them but had social anxiety and felt nervous chatting in streams for a chance to win it.

Personally I'm dreading the new trade bar system.

When companies make changes like this, in every case I'm aware of, these kinds of changes result in the customer paying more to get less. Companies restructure their payment/rewards systems to benefit their bottom line, not to benefit the customer.

So we'll see how it goes.

they have said that unlike event tickets, they will not be for sale in the crown store, so theres no way to "pay more" if theres no option to even pay for it lol

i think earning the trade bars in game wont be much different than endeavors now

FYI - For those wanting past ESO+ rewards like statuettes, from what I could tell on the PTS you can only buy those with a currently active ESO+ subscription.

In my opinion, stuff meant for the beta testers and pre-Tamriel Unlimited subscribers should not be available to everyone from the Bazaar. Let them remain unique to the players that were playing during that period.

Added to that they'll be uncapped. I have enough of the companion guild level thingies for another 2 companions if we ever get any more, plus lots of group repair kits and random furnishings I would never have bought if not for the cap. I don't see how most people won't be better off

If they bring it back, I would love to get the Original Dwemer Sphere for my second account and the twitch drops I've missed over the years. Maybe a way to get the Senche of Scarlet Regret because to this day I only got the pet... several times, and only the pet for both accounts

We pay in more than RWC.

The new system is clearly meant to drive engagement — they want more of our time. That’s a consumable currency they convert to RWC.

We are also paying in trade bars, which are a replacement for tickets. If things cost more in trade bars than in tickets, accounting for conversion, then we are paying more in in-game currency than we would have before. And if trade bars are more limited in availability than tickets, again accounting for conversion, we are paying more in time and engagement to get the same value. While there will be a whole bunch of trade bars on offer this first tome, it remains to be seen how many we’ll get going forward. It wouldn’t be surprising if the first season had a lot to get us into the system and then they offered fewer going forward.

The conversion factor is like a reverse lira to euro. We feel richer, things feel cheaper, and we lose some accuracy in assessing value due to the nature of small units. (Crowns too are more on the scale of pennies than dollars.)

This new system will work better for some, sure, especially with the lack of cap, but it wouldn’t have been done if it weren’t projected to help engagement and ultimately help the game improve revenue, which is now a corporate responsibility to its shareholders.

I'll have to see what's on offer. I only started playing the game seriuosly when Morrowind was released, so if there were items that were only earnable before then, I'm missing them. I also didn't pay much attention to events for a while.

The Antiquarian's Alpine Gallery if they decide to add it. I earned access to it during the Dark Heart of Skyrim Celebration but due to a major patch and an extremely poor internet connection back then, I didn't manage to get back into the game in time to claim it.

honestly if people are spending more than 15-20 minutes on endeavors now, then to me thats just a time management issue lol, or they havent figured out good ways to complete the endeavors

even most of the gold pursuits they have done in the past year have taken me an avg of 3 days or less to complete

if they make the tasks too arduous, then people wont do them, if they dont make them rewarding people wont do them

as a player you always have the choice on if you want to do the activity or not, in my case i do the endeavors right now because they barely take any time to do and i can get on doing with what i actually want to do in the game even though it takes months to earn enough of them to buy anything of value to me

Same here, except I didn't understand at the time that I was eligible to claim it. I wasn't following the forums and I guess I didn't click into any official announcement in-game, so I missed out. I've also seen it in the crown store but I'm not willing to buy it because I know I should have received it for free, so I just can't do it.

True. When I've had to limit myself to 20 minute gaming sessions (due to RSI flareups), I've usually managed to complete the daily endeavors with time to spare. Sometimes the options mean that if I want 3/3, I'd have to do a group dungeon and some of them are long. But 90% of the time, to complete the daily endeavors takes 10 minutes or less.

Often the weekly endeavor only takes 5-10 minutes to do, as well.

This argument could be applied to any limited item tied to loyalty or playing at a certain time.

I think it's great that they've kept the early subscriber items exclusive all this time, and that's speaking as a playstation user, where they've never been available.

It's been a decade tho, and there's very few active players left from back then. I definitely think there comes a time when you've satisfied the exclusivity promise.

They were fairly high ticket items and it would be nice to see them about in game. I've only ever seen the ice wraith pet a couple of times in the first year and never seen the tiger mount.

It's time to bring them back
