How to get one event ticket?

I have 11/12 tickets. I have already everything from the Impresario. I don't need to spend anything and there isn't anything for 1 ticket anyway.

If I kill a boss to get the tickets, I get none because I have 11/12 and no space for 2 tickets. I am fine "losing" one ticket to get 12/12. Is there a way to get one ticket?

    Hop in a time machine, travel back 1 day.
    Buy commendation from Impresario for 3 tickets, kill boss for 2 tickets.
    Next day, kill another boss for 2 more tickets.
    Voilá, 12/12.

    tbh your better off buying something for 2 tickets and ending off with 11/12 with gold repair kit ( what id buy ) and not 11/12 with missing 2 tickets

    Do the quest on an alt that hasn't done it yet. IDK for sure but I recently read you can choose to take the ticket loss of 1 ticket if you are handing it in as a quest instead of looting an enemy.

    Tried this. Yes, it says I can get one ticket. Didn't get it, so I guess it bugged out. Did this now with two characters. Both times when returning the quest it says I cannot carry more tickets. When I click it anyway, it gives me a warning where it says if I click Yes I get only one ticket. I clicked Yes and got... 0 tickets.

    So because of this bugged out quest return I am still at 11/12.

    Thanks anyway. If the quest return would work this would have been the solution.

    Used to be possible before but not anymore. Good that event tickets are going away along with this ridiculous cap.

    Was the event ending at 10 est today, or is it all day Wednesday and ending at 10 tomorrow?

    OK so it was 10 est today - managed to get on and grab a last couple of tickets before the deadline.
