Lost Gold Mara's Extravagant Parcel due to guard

My boyfriend pickpocketed a guard, and got his first Mara's Parcel, the gold Extravagant one. Then pickpocketed the guard again, at 80%, and unfortunately got caught. Then since inside was unable to escape the guard and got killed, losing the gold parcel. The next parcel he got was only a purple one, confirming that the daily gold parcel was lost. This seems unintended, because losing out on a daily event box is kind of ridiculous. Could there be a way to give him this missing daily gold box?

    In order for ZOS to look at his account specifically, he should file a support ticket from his own account. He can do that in game or on the website.
