For this specific event I'd have also given a separate option to accept Mara's Parcel reward without the gold, a "I do this out of the kindness of my heart" kind of love expression given it should be an event about kind gestures.4 -
Marronsuisse✭✭✭✭My character is actually very affectionate and would have happily returned the hug, but alas we don't have this option on the only occasion it truly would have made sense. Instead our character just floats awkwardly and sounds put off. Yes, I realize it's likely to imply the hug was 'too firm' or something I don't really care. I just wish there was more compassion from our character, or at least the option for it.
I wonder if there are different animations or something. I saw a video where the player hugs Kuzam-jo around the waist, but my character hugged him around his neck after being lifted up. It looked cute (but sounded a bit painful
